This reminds me that I really need to finish that book about Musk Twitter. The big takeaway I got is that big announcements are made that are never followed through on, with a lot of it tied to Musk never really shaking his memelord tendencies which get in the way of anything effective being done. When the post-mortem on the destruction of Twitter is done the era of Musk will probably be viewed as a time when image was obsessed over and substance was neglected. The obvious take on this is that National Review is worried about the competency crisis affecting the military and that there needs to be White men who can do the necessary leading and fighting. There's an understated aspect here though which is why they make references to higher education. This is big if actually true. It's only one poll but since Zelensky's election in 2019 he's been an unstoppable juggernaut in the corrupt politics of Ukraine, with his party sweeping everywhere and with massive support both before and after the war. Not that Zaluzhny would be terribly different, it's still a sign of internal turmoil and fatigue, if this poll is reliable.

I take this to mean they're getting ready to do another ISIS-style op to try and engineer counterjihad sentiments to swing support back to Israel.
