| 11 | Pameran Pesta Konvo UTB 2023 dibukakan untuk warga UTB
Majlis Pesta Konvo UTB Kelapan 2023 telah sempurna dirasmikan oleh Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda (Dr) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, Menteri Kanan di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Pro-Canselor Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), pada 26 Ogos 2023.
Antara perisian Pesta Konvo Kelapan UTB 2023 ialah Pameran bertemakan ‘I am Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (iAIML): Redefining Tomorrow’ yang mengetengahkan hasil-hasil projek memfokuskan teknologi artificial intelligence dan machine learning yang dibuat sepanjang pengajian tahun akhir para bakal graduan UTB. Ini sesuai dengan matlamat UTB bagi menyerapkan pengetahuan teknologi ini dalam pendidikan, penggunaan data, smart cities, dan sebagainya.
Bahagian utama pameran terdiri daripada lapan projek yang menjurus kepada keterlibatan dan kegigihan para bakal graduan dalam kajian berunsur innovasi dan AIML sehingga berjaya menerbitkan projek-projek yang memberikan impak besar kepada masyarakat selaras dengan visi UTB iaitu Universiti Global yang Memberi Impak kepada Masyarakat (Global University Impacting Society).
Pameran tersebut kini dibukakan untuk kunjungan staf dan pelajar UTB di Dewan Legar UTB selama satu minggu mulai 28 Ogos 2023 hingga 02 September 2023 dari jam 8:00 pagi hingga 4:00 petang, kecuali hari Jumaat dan Ahad.

UTB Convocation Festival 2023 Exhibition is now opened for UTB staff and students
His Royal Highness Prince (Dr.) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), consented to officiate the Eighth UTB Convocation Festival 2023 on 26 August 2023.
The exhibition consists of eight chosen projects which demonstrate the theme ‘I am Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (iAIML): Redefining Tomorrow’ that highlights the involvement of graduating students through publication of projects that contribute significant impacts to society, this is in accordance with UTB’s vision ‘Global University Impacting Society’. These projects focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies in terms of education, data usage, smart cities, and such.
The exhibition will be open for viewing at UTB Concourse for one week from 28 August 2023 until 02 September 2023 from 8:00am until 4:00pm, except for Friday and Sunday.

| 17 | 24 June 2023 - UTB School of Business has achieved a significant milestone by securing international accreditation from the prestigious European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) on 20 June 2023. By attaining this milestone, UTB School of Business establishes itself as a world-class institution, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to providing exceptional Business education, fostering a culture of academic excellence and preparing its graduates to make a meaningful impact in the corporate world.
EFMD, a renowned international organisation that evaluates and accredits Business schools and programmes worldwide, conducted a thorough assessment of UTB School of Business programmes. These include Bachelor of Business (Hons) with all six majors, as well as its Master of Science in Management and Technology programme. The accreditation process involved a comprehensive review of the school's academic offerings, faculty qualifications, research output, and overall teaching and learning methodologies.
A distinguished peer review team, comprising notable individuals from academia and the industry, played a pivotal role in this evaluation. Visiting UTB School of Business from 28 February to 2 March 2023, the peer review team meticulously scrutinised the programs against rigorous standards, ensuring quality and relevance.
Following an exhaustive evaluation, UTB School of Business emerged triumphant, meeting EFMD's stringent criteria across various dimensions. The accreditation signifies the institution's excellence in fostering a dynamic and enriching learning environment, nurturing talented individuals, and cultivating future business leaders equipped with the knowledge, skills, and ethical values required to thrive in today's fiercely competitive global landscape.
Dr. Fadzliwati Mohiddin, the Dean of UTB School of Business, expressed her heartfelt joy upon achieving this milestone, stating, "As we reflect on the remarkable journey of UTB School of Business since its establishment in 2013, we take immense pride in the tremendous progress we have made. Our academic offerings, institution, partnerships, and infrastructure have experienced significant growth. It is with great pleasure that we present the culmination of our relentless pursuit of accreditation, as it stands as a testament to our unwavering dedication to academic excellence, especially in the fields of Business and Technology. This accreditation will empower us to provide an exceptional educational experience to the aspiring leaders of our nation, ensuring a brighter future for all, In shaa Allah."
Dr. Fadzliwati Mohiddin further emphasised that the EFMD accreditation brings forth a multitude of benefits for all stakeholders. | 19 | We are pleased to inform you that UTB is organising a Project Showcase, which will feature 300 final-year student projects from the Faculty of Engineering (FEng), School of Computing and Informatics (SCI), UTB Business School (UTB-SB), School of Applied Science and Mathematics (SASM) and School of Design (SDe).
The theme of the exhibition for 2023 is ‘Empowering Creativity and Innovation towards Sustainable Future’. Among the objectives of this exhibition is to celebrate the achievements of final-year undergraduate students from all schools and faculties who have successfully produced end-of-year projects that are not only innovative, quality and high quality but also deepen and expand their respective fields.
In this juncture, on behalf of the Organising Committee, we are pleased to invite you to the Project Showcase 2023 which will take place as follows: -
