For the last three Friday nights musicians from Free The Nation Music have come together to play for free, for everyone—on the main street of Mullumbimby, NSW, Australia.
No questions. No demands.
Music for all.
So easy and so beautiful.
Musicians who have performed at the freedom street jams include Ben Mitchell, Jock Barnes, Isaac Frankham, Ben Cox, Matthew Armitage, Alex McLeod, Lucius Borich, Matty Rogers, T-Larmon, Mish Songsmith and Hannah Darling.
As of 30th October 2021 over 200+ musicians have added their names to the list of musicians publicly taking a stand for inclusion for all, and standing up for all our freedoms of choice at https://freethenationmusic.com/
All musicians welcome.

Last night a couple of us put up a Free The Nation Music banner on the side of the road going into Mullumbimby.
Tonight a bunch of us musicians are taking to the street to bring music—joy and peace and love—to the people.
Catching the magic will be a crew of big hearted truth and freedom keeping filmmakers Soulcraft Pictures, Luke and New Soul Projects. So if they ask you to tell the camera why you love being free and living life with love don’t be surprised.
We’re all of us together making magic happen.

Today I'm part of a growing, worldwide band of musicians at Free The Nation Music who stand for freedom and oppose discrimination. More than 170 of us and counting, from across the world.
Friday night I got to jam with brilliant musicians—thanks Lucius and Matthew—and enjoy making and sharing music with our local community. All together.
It was so much fun I'm sure we're gonna do it again. Soon.

A week ago I met a couple fellas at a dinner party and told them about my plans to take Free The Nation Music to the people, maybe putting on a festival or live show. They thought it was a great idea and together we made it happen on Friday night in Mullumbimby.
A simple street concert bringing joy and raising all our spirits.
Then more people came together to film this amazing video, which captures the magic of the night and also explains what Free The Nation Music is.
And, of course, there were all those smiling faces of living men, women and children dancing, singing along and catching up with each other—and making new friends.
And that was what this week reminded me: we can make new friends and build a new world of freedom and love and acceptance.
All together.
