FRIDAY RECAP Talk about a tough CBB slate on Thursday… what a dog day it was! Celtics, Lakers, Heat, you name it - all big public & cappers plays just way off. Everyone was dim yesterday. The only bright spot was Devils ML in the NHL. However Wild ML, as expected, was good dog spot. Pretty much all cappers lost yesterday, which makes today even more interesting: who will be the best material to tail in the NFL? Will the public give back even more today? Packers is a big public spot, but will the Cinderella story continue? I want to say no, but let’s see what our cappers have to say. Tier 1 plays went 0-3 for -3U. Trends did no good, cappers did no good. Might be more risky today to test my luck and see if I can grab some extra wins after a horrible week. Let’s see what cappers have in action today. A bunch of cappers on Celtics -5.5 against the Nuggets (current line is -7.5). Celtics going for 20-0 record at home. Nuggets are getting a lot of points here. From my perspective, books set such a big number to bait -EV bets on the Nuggets. And PardonMyPick’s 5U is Celtics -5.5, so I’ll side with the Celtics here. A couple cappers on Hornets -4/-4.5. Trends also suggest Hornets should take this game easily. No Wembanyama for the Spurs tonight. No cappers on Spurs. 76ers looks like a spot too sweet not to take it, but there’s Duck Investments (down bad) on 76ers ML and one solid capper on the Magic. Pelicans vs Suns looks like a complete coin toss like yesterday’s Illinois vs Michigan. I’d skip this game. Pacers was a trending spot, and now it’s confirmed that Halliburton and Siakam are good to go against the Blazers. The line dropped down from -5.5 to -8.5 after these news. A couple cappers were on Pacers -5.5, one capper (Sean Perry who was on a hot streak and might be due for a losing streak) on Blazers +5.5. I’ve already said it earlier today that Wild are struggling right now but it might be the best time to buy low on them. NBA: 1. Suns / Pelicans UNDER 237.5 (-110) 2. Pacers -5.5 (-110) 3. THURSDAY RECAP Tough CBB slate yesterday. It really looked like Stanford was a piece of cake based on the cappers who’d picked them yesterday. Michigan/Illinois was far from a close game, so it really was a coin toss if I had to choose something there. NHL consensus got a very easy win with TB Lightning destroying Minnesota. Fading Wild might be an easy route because the team is in crisis. Tier 1 plays went 1-2 for -1.23U. NHL trends worked perfectly as both Bruins/Avs and Flames/Leafs games went OVER.
