Some people think that newspapers are the best way to learn about news. However, others believe that they can learn news more effectively through other media.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
In an era characterized by constant shifts and breakthroughs in technology, having an access to diverse sources of news have gained momentum. While some feel that traditional newspapers are the superior supplier of reliable news, others contend that media covers the latest updates, illustrating minute details to its audience, I believe the latter has become a common option due to its manifold advantages.
Reading news through newspapers, on the one hand, offers tremendous benefits to its specific age group, targeting mainly the elderly. This audience prefers conventional method to access the news for several reasons. First, it does not require devices that have applications, excessive reliance on technology usually discourages the elders. Moreover, those individuals hardly need internet to read the newspaper. Since many modern gadgets need to be connected to the network to provide the news. Unlike this modern approach, seniors tend to feel emotional closeness, as they have been reading the paper format for many years, this attachment might be one of the dominant reasons why they prioritize this option. Lastly, the source of information is thoroughly checked before it is released through the printing house, thus they feel accustomed to reading the paper format.
Even though the former group supports the traditional format; however, there are numerous individuals, who consider the media to have multiple advantages over the newspaper. Media broadcasts the information in multiple ways to its diverse subscribers. The audio version of news seems to be an appealing choice to those who have tight schedule, by multitasking they achieve their goals to combine two activities at the same time. While driving or cooking, young individuals listen to the news, and thus they effectively manage their time. Not only does the media report the latest news, but also it showcases the videos relevant to political events or conflicts. Hardly had individuals been informed about the wars in Palestine or Ukraine, the world would have remained ignorant. Since without the latest photo or video coverage of those war-torn areas, individuals would not have taken actions to show their opposition in the public through demonstrations. For these reasons, I personally support the view that the latter is the best way of learning about news.
In conclusion, only through timely reports can we actively take actions to mitigate the risks of conflicts and discuss the grave consequences of political disagreements. Therefore, I believe that individuals, irrespective of their ages, should follow the media news to keep up with the current global events.

Given graph compares the reasons for absenteeism in a European country in every five years, ranging from 2000 to 2010. From an overall perspective, the absence at work has been divided into five categories, illness has been all-time high reason despite its consistent decline over years. Of particular note are the familial responsibilities along with personal needs, which were the second largest figures for absenteeism, while only stress swinged wildly in all three various years.
In terms of major cause of being absent at work, it had been reported in the surveys that the illness, initially comprised for 45%, though it experienced a continuous fall. In spite of being all-time high figure, 35% of respondents reported that it remained the highest culprit in 2010. Family duties, on the other hand, remained the runner up. Starting from almost 30%, in the later 10 years, it stood at approximately 23%, identical in both years 2005 and 2010.
Personal needs were the factor that majority of employees informed in the polls that it was the culprit for absenteeism. Although it commenced with 15%, its peak was observed in the later year over 21%; however, it could not overtake the family responsibilities. With regards to transportation and stress, these two had marginal shares in the survey. The latter comprised to about 6%, then it doubled surpassing the former in 2010. Transportation had started with 10%, it numbered to approximately 16% in 2005 and 2010.

In an era characterized by unprecedented environmental challenges, the plastic waste has become a worrisome issue with far-reaching consequences for ecosystems along with human well-being. While sustainable innovations have provided potential solutions, I believe that this pressing issue requires a holistic approach that combines policy enforcement, public awareness and eco-friendly alternatives.
Plastic pollution has deteriorated human health, rendering a number of ailments and threats to environment. One of the most effective strategies to tackle plastic waste is promoting sustainable alternatives. Biodegradable materials such as bamboo, paper as well as plant-based packaging, which offer eco-friendly substitutes. To exemplify these, many companies are now replacing single-use plastic products with compostable materials, which decompose naturally and leave no toxic residue. This, in turn, decelerates environmental degradation. Not only do these alternatives minimize environmental pollution, but also they encourage a shift towards more sustainable production. Moreover, reusable metal straws and cloth bags have gained momentum as practical substitutes. I reiterate there should be taken some steps to reduce this concern before it becomes irreversible.
Governmental policies, on the other hand, mark a significant milestone in tackling this problem. Many countries have introduced bans on single-use plastics such as straws, cutlery and shopping bags to curb excessive plastic consumption. One other remedy is imposing taxes on plastic waste. Furthermore, raising public awareness regarding adverse effects of plastic should be introduced, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.
In conclusion, I strongly contend that individuals ought to prohibit using plastics. Only through adopting to sustainable alternatives, coupled with robust policy regulations, can society mitigate grave consequences cause by plastic waste.

In an era characterized by multiple learning methods, coupled with the proliferation of cinematographic productions showcasing historical events, it has become increasingly common to observe biases and inaccurate information, which is presented to audience. While inaccuracy in the contents of those videos might act negatively on our perception about the past, I contend that the retrieval of information from other trustworthy sources are by far the most appealing approach to learn history.
Proponents of published books present several reasons to support their stance. They usually emphasize the value of validity and references that printed scholarly materials provide. First, one can identify the source at an ease, unlike the television show where the sources are not mentioned let alone the reliability of facts. Not only does this approach cause confusion among watchers but also it might trigger some disagreement amongst the members of the public. As the books clearly list the authors of articles along with books, it would present the relevant data in an alphabetic order. Moreover, movies create stages, costumes as well as appropriate scenery, which unlikely to convince the audience. It can be attributed to styles, fashion and even architectural decorations that do not belong to a particular time that the movie broadcasting on television channels.
Given such confusion in details on television programs, the young generation is nurtured and educated incorrectly, which has repercussions. With a failure in illustrating events in a correct way, there would be tremendous arguments between scholars and producers of television. This, in turn, cultivates an unhealthy academic atmosphere of illiteracy among school children. Hardly had historians in the past failed to report the events in a precise nature, the current generation would not have had an access to original information. Therefore, incorporating factually fallacious materials on television or schools ought to be prohibited to prevent grave consequences of trusting to biases.
In conclusion, I believe that only through censoring the video contents that are less reliable can we expect to rear readers who would rely on publications that include the list of used literature.
