The given diagram illustrates the conversions took place in the bookstore in 2000 and its current layout. From an overall perspective, there have been conspicuous alterations, whereas the travel, new books and service desk retained their original forms. Of particular note is fiction section on top, which was replaced with four different sections. Despite these makeovers, the rearrangements were made on the top and top-right hand side of the building. With regard the noteworthy changes, the right-hand side of long fiction section had a separate fiction area. Various genres of the books - art, hobbies and cookery - could be found behind the non-fiction department. In spite of these shifts, the entrance, service desk, travel and new books remained unchanged in the original forms on the left hand side of the shop. In terms of conversions, art, hobbies and cookery have been removed to make way for three tables surrounded by seats, relocating to the top. Similarly, the non-fiction has been cleared to create space for café.

TASK 2📝: As populations grow, places of natural beauty in cities are being used for constructing new houses. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages? With a rapid increase in population, coupled with career-focused individuals, it has become common to migrate to urban center among youth to pursue their interests and goals. While some assert that the provision of housing to disadvantaged groups should not be ignored, I believe that the expansion of city at the expense of park and green zones has far greater drawbacks. Proponents of preservation of green space cite various reasons to support their stance. With heightened levels of exhaust fumes and stress among city dwellers, it comes as no surprise that there is an excessive demand for recreational public amenities, particularly the lush greenery. It acts as a natural barrier against the urban smog and provides the meditative environment for residents living in those places. Unlike the countryside, the downtown area has insufficient parks along with the natural beauty, which already deprives some individuals from being close to the nature. Not only does it affect their psychological and mental wellbeing but it also cultivates the social fabric among community members to interact and spend leisure time meaningfully. Despite some arguments for the construction of accommodation in urban centers, the conservation of land has to be strictly monitored so as to maintain sustainable practices and preserve trees that prevent the air pollution. Given such eco-friendly approaches, the number of ailments amongst children as well as the elderly will reduce, as forest located within the center will filter the environment. The multifaceted function of those places will enable diverse age groups to pursue their activities as they wish, for example, walking under the shade, jogging and forging more interaction. Hardly had the governmental institutions decided to construct housing in natural beauty when it worsened the quality of life, negatively affecting people with respiratory illnesses. In conclusion, I feel that only through taking into account the public interests of majority already living there can we maintain the wellbeing of residents. Under no circumstances can we allow the removal of open spaces to build houses. #task2_advantages_outweigh Join our channel

The given diagram illustrates the production of energy from coal. From an overall perspective, the procedure commences with the extraction of coal and culminates with the delivery of electricity to households and for various purposes. Of particular note is the involvement of 9 major parties like miners, crusher, transport, conversion into gas, cleaning, power plants and power consumers. Initially, coal is extracted from mine before it is crushed to form smaller piece. From there, it is dispatched to the factory, it is converted into gasified matter. This step requires the heat. Following this, cooling process takes place in the second factory. Of significance is the waste heat, which is released into the atmosphere. In terms of another step, removal of impurities is the stage that occurs in a different industrial estate. Subsequently, before producing electricity to supply the public and entrepreneurial demands, it undergoes the actual production of power in the plant. Finally, the provision of energy is available through wires to homes along with industries.

The given diagram illustrates the procedure of producing the smoked fish. From an overall perspective, it commences with catching fish and culminates with selling by fishmongers. Of particular note is the involvement of 13 major stages, which involve several parties like; fisherman, port, freezing, thawing in the fresh water, cutting, coloring in salty water, smoking, packaging, refreezing, storage in the cold, dispatching and selling. In detail, before the processing of fish starts, the fishermen catch and then deliver the potential product into the port on the boat. Subsequently, at this point, it is frozen in a specially designed container. Until the head of fish is removed from its body to split it into two parts; however, it undergoes a thawing stage in the fresh water. Of significance is salty water, which is required where the yellow coloring takes place at the same time. The raw fish is smoked in specific equipment. Followed by the phase where packaging of processed product occurs. In the last three steps, the food is stored under as low as 0 temperature before it is transported to markets.
