Congregational Salah is not obligatory upon women
Q: We are more than six ladies living in the same house. When the times of obligatory prayers are due, we offer prayer individually. Some of our relatives visited us and advised us to perform prayer in congregation and explained to us that in this way we get the virtue of offering prayer in congregation. Is this correct?
A: It is not obligatory upon women to perform prayer in congregation but if they offer it in congregation, it will be correct and if they offer it individually, it will be also correct. We expect that Allah will give them the full reward of congregation, if they offer it in congregation, especially if there is a religious female student that would be their Imam (the one who leads congregational Prayer) to lead them. When they offer prayer in congregation, it will be cooperation in virtue and piety. Their female Imam has to stand in the middle of them in the first row and recite the Qur'an loudly exactly as men do.

Is it permissible for women to offer all prayers at the Masjid?
Q: If a young lady wearing the full Islamic Hijab covering all her body except her face and hands wishes to offer all prayers at the Masjid (mosque), is this permissible for her? Should she always go accompanied by her husband?
A: There is nothing wrong with a woman's praying at the Masjid if she wears Islamic Hijab covering all her body, face and hands, and avoids perfumes or adornments. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) stated: “Do not forbid the female servants of Allah from (going into) the Masjids of Allah.” However, her home is better for her because the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) stated at the end of the above-mentioned Hadith that: “And their houses are better for them.”

Q: My wife's family is causing distress for me and my wife. What is the ruling on shunning them and stopping visits to them?
Sh. Ibn Uthaymeen: You have the right to shun them and not visit them if visiting them causes harm to you or corrupts your wife. You have the right to refrain from visiting them, and you also have the right to prevent your wife from visiting them. I strongly advise those who drive a wedge between a man and his wife, and I say: Their action is like the action of sorcerers -and refuge is sought with Allah.
It is obligatory to refrain from interfering in what happens between spouses. If it happens that one of the spouses falls short in their duties, they should be advised directly, without bringing it up to their partner in a way that creates jealousy or resentment in their heart. Being clear and straightforward is obligatory to the best of one's ability, and it is better in all circumstances. Yes.

Q: Is a person sinful if they detest their wife-meaning, they do not love her?
Sh. Ibn Uthaymeen: Love and hatred are matters that Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, casts into the heart of a servant. A person may not have control over themselves regarding this matter; meaning, they may not possess the ability to turn someone they love into someone they detest, or someone they detest into someone they love. However, love has causes, and hatred has causes. Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, has forbidden everything that serves as a cause for enmity and hatred, and has commanded that which is mandatory regarding affection and familiarity.
Therefore, a man -especially concerning his wife- must be extremely keen on pursuing the causes that bring about affection and love between them. Among these causes is that he remembers her good qualities and overlooks her shortcomings, just as the Prophet (ﷺ) guided us to do in his saying: {{"A believing man should not hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another."}} This is how he should deal with his wife, and she should likewise deal with him, so that love can take root in both of their hearts, thereby achieving harmony and affection. The matter of a wife is not like any other; indeed, the separation of spouses from one another carries it's own dangers, especially if there are children between them.
