The OETH Harvester and Dripper have been upgraded, pursuant to the OGV governance proposal. 🧑‍🌾 💧 Rewards tokens earned from OETH collateral will now be dripped to holders over 14 days, making yield less volatile and more predictable. OETH is now dispersing BAL and AURA rewards that have accrued from the rETH/WETH Meta Stable pool (in the form of extra OETH). ⚖️ OETH is Entering Balancer's Ecosystem! Why is it important? This is the first time OETH collateral will earn from liquid staking and DeFi in a single strategy. The OGV DAO approved Balancer's rETH/WETH MetaStable pool, green lighting up to $14M in OETH collateral to be sent to the pool. 🟢 Scaling into new ecosystems makes OETH less reliant on OGV incentives on Curve. Notably, OGV bribes have already been reduced over 50%. The Balancer rETH/WETH pool has $45M+ of liquidity, allowing the protocol to deploy significant collateral without major yield compression. What's Next? The team is reviewing Balancer's Composable Stable pools, with the goal of putting more LST collateral to work on Balancer. Stay tuned to OGV governance, as more Balancer pools will likely be proposed in the coming months. Balancer liquidity provision can become more capital efficient by creating a Balancer AMO, similar to the Curve AMO used to manage liquidity in the OETH/ETH pool.
