I dedicated this post to the non-Muslim world, so I will present it in a simple narrative manner, without Islamic references. He supported and protected Muhammad against the Quraysh tribe. After Abu Talib's death, the Quraysh attacked Muhammad. 2) The descendants of Abu Talib were some of the most loyal supporters of Muhammad during the early days of Islamic preaching, opposing figures like Abu Sufyan, Abu Jahl, Umayyah, and their followers. Abu Talib's children were Ali, the strongest warrior on Muhammad's side, Aqil, and Ja'far (who carried the flag for Muhammad in a battle and was martyred, earning the nickname "Ja'far the Flyer" because both of his arms were cut off in the battle). 3) The person who is responsible for this massacre is a man named Yazid Muawiya Abu Sufyan. 4) Abu Sufyan's grandfather was one of Muhammad's greatest enemies and the most cunning of them all. Yazid's grandmother was Hind, who fought fiercely against Muhammad, even going to the extent of eating Hamza's liver (Muhammad's uncle and Abu Talib's brother) out of vengeance for her father and brother (Walid and Utbah) who were killed by Ali and his uncle, Hamza. 5) The main victim in this battle was Hussain, who was Fatimah bint Muhammad, considered a part of Muhammad. She was a divine gift to Muhammad due to the absence of male offspring. God granted him Al-Kawthar, as mentioned in one of the verses of the Muslims' book (Quran). 6) The heads of Abu Talib's descendants, along with 77 of their supporters, were sent to Syria while people danced in the streets. One of Hussain's daughters (Raqiya) died during captivity due to injustice and torture, and a year later, her sister Zainab bint Ali also died due to grief. 7) Massacres occurred in Kufa after this incident, as well as in Medina and Mecca, under Yazid's orders. He was also responsible for burning the Kaaba. After all of this, you would understand the extent of the historical setback that the Arabs inflicted on their Prophet and his family, linking the events to the reading of revenge and envy in this incident.
