•This is part of the deep drama of marriage: the constant call to 'die to yourself' for the sake of your loved one.
- Alice von Hildebrand•
•Whatever you are doing that makes you feel most alive-that is where God is.

•“Your work as parents, therefore, is a holy and religious work. You may produce doctors, lawyers, scientists. But to the extent that your children do not reach heaven or are given every opportunity to do so, you have not succeeded….”•
Repost from Fascinating Womanhood
For those who believe that they have far too sinful a past to ever reconcile with God, look to Mary Magdalene. She was a sinner, so far removed from grace, that it was a scandal that Our Lord would even let her near. And yet she is known far and wide as one of Our Lord’s most devoted followers, watching His bitter agony in the company of His own blessed mother.
If you believe yourself to be beyond saving, look to this saint on her feast day, and pray to God for the courage to confess and start again. Our Lord is waiting for you, it is up to you to fall at His feet like Mary Magdalene.
•The Virtues That Build Character•
Character rests upon two beautiful groups of virtues.
The first are the strong virtues that give firmness and stability:
Self-mastery
Honesty
Chastity
Dependability
Diligence
Moral courage
Self-restraint
Perseverance
Frugality
The second are the gentle virtues that make strength attractive:
Love
Charity
Kindness
Patience
Forgiveness
Unselfishness
Fairness
Humility
Sympathy
Understanding
Sensitivity
Generosity
Optimism
When these virtues work together, they reveal something beautiful:
Holiness is not weakness. True goodness is the greatest strength a person can possess•

•Happy Feast of our Lady of Mount Carmel🌹
Queen and Lady of Mount Carmel!
Seen by Prophet's mystic gaze;
Shown above the holy mountain
As Elias kneels and prays.
Cloud-like rising from the ocean, Pure and free from every stain,
She doth claim his heart's devotion
Thro' the ages to remain•

"A kind thought never fails to bring joy to your home, It gladdens you and those around you. Happiness is not necessarily won by deeds, but it is readily held by a simple, loving thought which can dispel the clouds of depression, discontent, and sadness.
Your family will not fail to notice the presence of such thoughts, even if no word is spoken. If it should happen that no one is aware of the kind thought in your heart, God is aware of it, for He who Himself is Love knows all things."
