𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕄𝔼𝕊𝕊𝔸𝔾𝔼: It has been an awesome experience these past few days that we have been discussing how to seek God who is a diligent rewarder of those who seek Him. Having known what it means to seek God, and how to seek Him, it is important to know how God rewards. Remember, God rewards obedience and absolutely detests disobedience. Therefore, seeking God first will usher you into the Kingdom of God, as a bona-fide child of God and citizen of heaven. The gift of eternal life is in His bosom. This is a unique blessing like no other and the most coveted. Paul was a committed seeker of God, and he boldly declared with confidence at the time of his departure from this world, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing" (2 Timothy 4:7-8). He did not only enjoy the intimate relationship with God here on earth, he was also confident of a blissful eternity in His presence. When you read, obey and meditate on God's word, you will discover and enjoy His unending promises. God will give you the wisdom and understanding to relate with fellow men and be victorious over the antics of the enemy. God knows all your needs and will supply them without struggles. When you pray and believe, God will reveal great and mighty things to you (Jeremiah 33:3). You will cry unto Him in prayer and He will answer you. When you worship God, you will receive the manifestation of His presence and power. Also, the best way to please God is to put your faith in action. Only when you have pleased God can you receive the rewards. You are welcome into the assembly of God seekers. Enjoy this life long experience of God's grace and power, in Jesus' name. READ: 2 John 1-6 [1]. The Elder, to the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all those who have known the truth, [2]. because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever: [3]. Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. [4]. I rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father. [5]. And now I plead with you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another. [6]. This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. EXPOSITION Letters are more than ink on paper; they carry messages of wisdom, encouragement, and love. On this day after World Letter Writing Day, we reflect on Apostle John's heartfelt letter, where he expressed the joy of seeing fellow believers walk in truth. This joy is the greatest reward for a Christian leader, knowing that those they guide are staying faithful to God. Christian leadership is not about power or titles but about service. John's words remind us that love and obedience are the foundation of true discipleship. He writes, _I ask that we love one another... And this is love: that we walk in obedience to His commands (2 Jn. 5-6). A leader's fulfilment comes from seeing others follow Christ, not by force, but through love. Take a moment today to write a letter of encouragement, to a church leader, a fellow believer, or someone needing hope. Words can strengthen faith, remind others they are valued, and inspire them to keep walking in the truth. You cannot sit idle, remain passive and claim you are seeking God. Seeking starts from a heart that loves and is consumed with passion for Him. Jeremiah 29:13 says, "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." You must genuinely seek and believe in Him. After establishing a relationship with God, you strive to know more about Him through His word, through worship and through prayer. Deep intimacy with God is easily achieved through a wholesome devotion and desire to be led by Him, in total adherence to His will and His word. The word of God is God Himself (John 1:1). To discover and know more of Him, you need to read and meditate on His word, and live in obedience (Joshua 1:8). By doing this, you will prosper and have good success. God inhabits the praises of His children. As you praise and worship the Lord, you bring down His presence. You can also discover more of God through prayer. This is a personal relationship in the secret place (Matthew 7:7). It calls for persistence and consistency. Ask Him to reveal more of Himself to you, as you constantly knock on the door of heaven through your worship and fervent prayer. As stated in today's memory verse, the apostle Paul already knew God, but he desired to know more of Him. That means there is no end to knowing Him. It starts from here until you get to heaven in His bosom. It then means, as a Christian, you must do away with every kind of unrighteousness. Remain holy and undefiled in word and in deed. It is only by doing this that you can truly seek and see the Lord. When you do this, the Lord will give you direction and it will be easy for you to navigate life. EXPOSITION Today, as we celebrate World Letter Writing Day, let us reflect on the most life-giving "letter" ever written: God's Word. In Psalm 119-97-104, the psalmist reveals his deep love and devotion to the Scripture. He describes it as a fountain of understanding that refreshes and nourishes his soul. God's Word provides wisdom, guidance, and insight, lighting the path of those who study it diligently. The psalmist declares, "Oh, how I love Your law!" His delight comes from the way God's Word gives clarity and guards him from sin. It is not just a book of rules; it is life-giving truth, a source of joy, and a guide for living in obedience to God. As we read these verses, let us be inspired to treasure God's Word as the psalmist did, recognising it as the ultimate source of wisdom and strength. In our noisy world, filled with competing voices, we must stay grounded in the Scripture. God's Word renews our minds, transforms our hearts, and draws us closer to Him. In today's Fire Scripture, the word 'seek' refers to those who are searching for God, with a purpose of knowing Him more and developing an intimate relationship with Him. This kind of seeking is intentionally done with zeal and determination. It is done with an intent to become more like Him and be conformed to His image. Consequently, God has a way of recognizing His seekers in different categories and for different reasons. It is on this premise that He rewards them. God sees and knows the mind of the seeker, whether it is genuine or not. The Bible talks about those who seek God for their belly's sake; and those who worship Him with their lips but their minds are far from Him. This then means there should be a way to seek God. Not all that seek Him, find Him. Not all that seek Him are diligent in their search, neither do all receive a reward. This is a serious matter. Do you seek God? Are you complacent or diligent in your seeking? Or, are you just a nominal Christian, one who comes to church to be part of the number, or one who contributes to kingdom service for personal gains and selfish reasons? While it is good to receive the accolades of men, most importantly, you must receive divine recognition. It is only by this heavenly recognition that you know more of Him, and get qualified for His reward. Beloved, these questions and more call for a deep self-examination. Your responses are to be submitted to the Holy Spirit, Who is the Marker and Judge of our intents. God cannot be mocked. In case you are a true seeker, be more diligent. But, if you are not, start by surrendering your life to Jesus, receive Him as your Lord and Saviour. He understood the mystery of the dust, sand and the earth. That is why he asked Elisha for some sand or earth in vs 17 NLT "Then Naaman said, "All right, but please allow me to load two of my mules with earth from this place, and I will take it back home with me. From now on I will never again offer burnt offerings or sacrifices to any other god except the Lord." Naaman seems to understand the mysterious power of the dust for him to have requested it from Elisha. He probably wanted to sprinkle the dust of the land of Israel on around his house and environment either for cleansing and sanitation of his environment or as a warfare weapon against the power troubling his household. Either way, Naaman was a man of understanding. Beloved, without mincing words, the dust of the earth is a deep weapon of spiritual warfare that has been used overtime by wicked powers against fellow humans. This is one weapon that the enemy has engaged even against the children of God. We need to start engaging these weapons against the enemies of our souls after the order of Moses. The weapon of the dust was used by Moses to fight his enemies. He used it to release the plagues of lice and boils upon the Egyptians. We too can sprinkle the dust on an errand to waste the power that will not allow us to rest. Hope we know that there are people that press the sand just to kill fellow humans? Dark powers always pay homage to Mother Earth. They programme insanity and all kinds of evil into people's lives through the dust of the earth. We believers must wake up from our slumber and begin to engage the elements to our advantage. The earth has ears, and it can hear us. We need to start commanding it to act accordingly. The world itself had a beginning, as recorded in Genesis 1:1, just as our individual lives did. Each new day, week, month, and year marks the start of another cycle in our lives. Yet, just as everything begins, so too does everything come to an end. This is an undeniable truth that we must embrace, for it is simply a matter of time. Our lives began at birth, and with the passage of time we move steadily closer to the end of our earthly journey. The years adults have lived are measurable and with each New Year, they often strive to improve upon the previous one. Yet, with each passing day, week, month, and year, they edge nearer to the conclusion of life as we know it (Eccl 3:1-2) The critical question remains: are we prepared for the transition from this temporary existence to eternity? Just as days, months and years unfailingly come to a close, so will this world, giving way to eternity (2 Pet 3:10). Let us live with eternity in focus (2 Cor. 4: 18). Learn the culture of honour, it is a currency!* 🙌🎶 *ℙℝ𝔸𝕀𝕊𝔼 & 𝕎𝕆ℝ𝕊ℍ𝕀ℙ* 🕊️📜 ℙℝ𝕆ℙℍ𝔼𝕋𝕀ℂ 𝕎𝕆ℝ𝔻 𝔽𝕆ℝ 𝕋𝕆𝔻𝔸𝕐: 𝙂𝙤𝙙'𝙨 𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙪𝙨, 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨. 🧧 *𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕄𝔼𝕊𝕊𝔸𝔾𝔼:* Another lesson to learn from Naaman is his character of honour. He honoured God in the life of Elisha, and he never took God's anointed for granted. After Elisha rejected his gifts, Gehazi felt entitled and ran after Naaman to collect the rejected gifts in the name of his master thus, demeaning the revered man of God in the face of a stranger. When Gehazi told Naaman that his master asked him to collect the gift, if it were to be men of this untoward generation, they would have said derisively, "What was he thinking before that he didn't collect it?" Some would even have gone to social media to accuse the man of being a gift-monger or money-monger. They are so quick to judge men of God. But what was Naaman's response? First, in verse 21, "And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him" Second, in verse 23, "And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him." Note from these two scriptures that Naaman respected Gehazi the way he would have respected Elisha. He saw Gehazi as a representative of Elisha and thus bestowed the same honour on him. There is an old-time culture that has eroded especially among modern and younger generation of Christians. It is the culture of honour. We no longer honour people. We no longer honour God's anointed men and women again. Now young Christians can look straight in the face of elders that are old enough to parent them and speak trash. Children talk anyhow to adults and some of these children are coming from supposedly Christian homes. Christians now resort to the social media to vent all their anger against the body of Christ. No restraint, no honour. Even the commandment of God that ask us to honour our father and mother has been thrown away through the window. Everyone seems to have thrown caution to the wind. The Bible says in Ephesians 4:20 that "But ye have not so leamed Christ;". This is apparently not the gospel handed to us. We need to get back to the culture of honour. 🙏 *ℙℝ𝔸𝕐𝔼ℝ ℙ𝕆𝕀ℕ𝕋𝕊:* 🌅 *𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆* 1. Spirit of dishonour and disrespect in my life, die, in the name of Jesus. 2. Wherever I have used dishonour to send my helpers away, Father please forgive me and restore them to me, in the name of Jesus. 3. I obtain the grace to give honour unto all who honour is due, in the name of Jesus. 🌌 *𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆* 4. Strategic relationships that will move my life forward, appear, in the name of Jesus. 5. O God, arise and send me divine help, in the name of Jesus. 6. I cultivate the culture of honour, in the name of Jesus. 7.
