1. Ensuring greater consistency and objectivity in the evaluation of the Essay paper.
2. Bringing greater uniformity and transparency in the awarding of Personality Test (Interview) marks across different boards.

Some observations on yesterday's CSE (Prelims) 2026 result:
- The cut-off is most likely in the range of 75-77 marks.
Impact of changes/Drop in the final answer key:
GS Paper-I
- At least two questions (most likely Article 13 and Agnikul) appear to have been revised or dropped.
-As a result, some candidates who were scoring around 70-71 marks based on the provisional answer key found their roll numbers in the result PDF.
- On the other hand, some candidates who were scoring 76-77 marks from the provisional key did not qualify.
CSAT
- There also seem to have been changes in the final answer key.
- Therefore, some candidates who were scoring around 63-64 marks according to the provisional key may have benefited.
-At the same time, a few candidates scoring 69-70 marks did not make it through.
Only 67 days left for Mains. Stay focused and make every day count.
