Armenia has a positive attitude to the purchase of Azerbaijani gas
Earlier Azerbaijani Aliyev did not rule out that Armenia could buy gas from Azerbaijan
The Speaker of the National Assembly answered the RFL/RL Armenian service question:
"I think this is a very good thing, I treat it very positively. I think we should discuss this issue, it seems that currently, part of the gas we use is not Azerbaijani. I am sure that under the agreement, a gas that comes to them from Russia, goes to Europe, and so on, and the same gas, by and large, comes to us. A very good option is to lay a gas pipeline not only from Azerbaijan but also from Iran and buy gas."
When asked if there are any discussions at the moment, Simonyan replied: I will talk to my colleagues about this, I do not know what the reactions will be."

Aliyev demands to change the Constitution of Armenia, remove Ararat from the coat of arms
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that one of the preconditions for signing a peace treaty with Armenia is to amend the Constitution of Armenia.
"When I say that they should change their Constitution, it is not arrogance or rudeness on my part, no, it is a prerequisite. They should change the national coat of arms, which depicts Mount Ararat. There are many mountains in Armenia, if they want, let them choose any of them. I know that both Azerbaijan and Turkey adhere to the well–established position that these two processes - the Turkish-Armenian rapprochement and the regulation of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations – should go in parallel. This is our position, as well as the position of the President of Turkey," Aliyev said speaking at the GOP international forum.

US State Department report on Armenia: torture, arbitrary imprisonment, problems of judicial independence
The US State Department has published an annual human rights report stating that reliable information has been received about torture, cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment by the Armenian government, arbitrary arrests and detentions continue in the country, and there are serious problems with the independence of the judiciary, RFL/RL Armenian service reports.
According to the authors of the report, the Pashinyan government has taken limited steps to investigate and punish alleged human rights violations by former and current government officials, as well as law enforcement agencies.
The US State Department notes that impunity for old and new cases of abuse by law enforcement agencies in Armenia continues, and alleged criminals continue to hold their positions and even receive promotions.
