🚨 Saturday Long Run 🚨 🗓 Date: Saturday Mar. 16th, 2024 🌙 Evening Run @ 10:00 PM 📍Location: Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (meeting at Wahat Al Karama Parking) https://maps.app.goo.gl/s8HU34GUhV2hiQxT8 🛣 Distance: 10K - 12K ⏱ Pace: Relatively slow and progressive pace 🗒 Notes: 🔸 1 loop around the Grand Mosque = 2 miles/ 3.2K 🔸 Optional Hydration stop at the end of the second loop. 🔸 Bring your water / gel 🔸 Bring a towel 🔸 Put in Sunblock 🔸 Take break if you feel tired (too hot or humid). There were many reasons for me to do the Tokyo Marathon 🇯🇵, but the main one was to learn how to humble myself more, how to feel what each and everyone from my running team feels while dealing with it actually the fear of being subject to do one even! As a proud community running coach, I was taught from that extra experience to have a mindful approach to training plan I deliver each week for my team 🙌🏼 is fundamental to cultivating the right conditions for perfect running experiences to arise. Thank you, @serenity.runner , for accepting my offer to join me for the very first, sudden, and exceptional Monday long run to prepare for this one 😂 I know you had no chance to say no anyway even with that wrong shoes you gotta pay the price for sharing our shadows...it's our destiny. My deepest gratitude for my family and all the team members who had been very supportive before during and after my running journey at the Tokyo Marathon.
