While we're talking gear, let's bring up plate carriers. Despite the prevailing sentiment, plate carriers are NOT a necessity. The tactics of the guerrilla hinge on SPEED and MOBILITY. Speed and mobility are difficult to achieve while wearing your brand new plush shellback with lvl 4 ceramic ESAPIs. Additionally, as a guerrilla your objective is to carry out quick surgical strikes, not engage in prolonged firefights. If you get in a long gun battle, you have already lost. A good chest rig will serve you better, especially if you live in mountainous terrain with shorter engagement distances and poor visibility. @way_of_wrath

Surefire makes good ones, but there are many serviceable brands that might be cheaper. If at all possible, avoid garbage lowers like PSA or Anderson because their QC is notoriously bad. If you see a deal that's too good to be true, it probably is. Unfortunately, firearms and components are expensive, so expect to pay for good gear.
