Reflections for the 11th Sunday in Ordinary Time + “When Jesus saw the crowds he felt sorry for them because they were harassed and dejected, like sheep without a shepherd.” How deep is my faith in the One Who will always hold me close? ++ ‘The harvest is rich but the labourers are few, so ask the Lord of the harvest to send labourers to his harvest.’ There are many to save but not many in the Church to administer to them. Ponder how the Lord thirsts to save us all! +++ “You received without charge, give without charge.” Recall how gracious the Lord has been to us! Let us strive to never take this gift for granted. ++ “‘How can this man give us his flesh to eat?’ they said.” Were you ever ridiculed when you explain the Eucharist to others? Take heart because our Lord entered the same experience and has made it holy – so offer up yours to Him. +++ “He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me and I live in him.” How much do you long for Him? 24-HR ADORATION A Eucharistic Revival '26 Initiative We invite all parishioners to come for the 24-hour Eucharistic Adoration from 5pm onwards on Sat, 6 June to 5pm on Sun, 7 June. This is an opportunity to spend quiet and intimate time in the presence of our Lord. Whether you can commit to a specific night hour or just drop in for 15 minutes during the Adoration, your presence matters.  Please take note of the Exposition venues and times: Main Church, L2: From SAT, 5PM through the night until SUN morning at 8AM. Auditorium, L3: From SUN morning at 8AM until the conclusion at 5PM. Bring your prayers, your burdens, and your thanksgivings to Him.

Reflections for The Most Holy Trinity + The central theme in today’s gospel reading tells us that God is love. It reveals the most perfect expression of the divine love of God for all. Today, God is inviting me to be united with Him through His love. Will I allow God to love me and I, to love Him? ++ We cannot keep the love of God only to ourselves, we have a mission to share this love, beginning with our family and neighbours. What can I do to share this love of God with them? +++ Human reasoning alone can never arrive at understanding the threefold personhood of God. I am called to deepen my own prayer life, to offer praises to God daily as best as I can. To profess my belief and reflect on the Nicene Creed. To open my heart to God, Who is love, and love Him in return with every power of my soul. Reflections for Pentecost Sunday + Our knowledge of the Pentecost comes to us from the Acts of the Apostles. And this gift of the Holy Spirit is the same gift that Jesus gives to all of us. I can be Baptised, received the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion but my heart may not be fully transformed. I need the transforming power of the Holy Spirit to embolden me to become His fearless witness. ++ Do I shy away from conversations when my family or neighbour speak against the truths and teachings of the Church such as abortion, killing, stealing, adultery, sexual relations outside marriage and same sex marriage? Why am I afraid or hesitant to speak up for what I know is the teaching of Jesus? +++ As Christ’s disciples, He wants me to experience the Spirit’s presence in my life. Will I allow the Holy Spirit to fill me, give me courage, purify me and set me on fire with zeal to fulfill the mission God has entrusted to me? Let us reflect… #COTTyardGR #COTTyardSocials
