[...] So for all those, who have spent their life seeking know that purity of any thing is found at the Source. If it is love that you seek, seek it through God. Every other stream, not based in His love, poisons the one who drinks from it. And the drinker will continue to drink, until the poison all but kills him. He will continue to die more and more inside, until he stops and finds the pure Source of water. Once you begin to see everything beautiful as only a reflection of God’s beauty, you will learn to love in the right way: for His sake. Everything and everyone you love will be for, through and because of Him. The foundation of such love is God. So what you hold onto will no longer be just an unstable feeling, a fleeting emotion. And what you chase will no longer be just a temporary high. What you hold, what you chase, what you love, will be God: the only thing stable and constant. Thereafter, everything else will be through Him. Everything you give or take or love or don’t love, will be by Him. Not by your nafs. It will be for Him. Not for your nafs. This means you will love what He loves and not love what He does not love. And when you do love, you will give to the creation—not for what you can get in return from them. You will love and you will give, but you will be sufficed from Him. And the one who is sufficed by God, is the richest and most generous of all lovers. Your love will be by Him, for Him, and because of Him. That is the liberation of the self from servitude to any created thing. And that is freedom. That is happiness. That is love. — Yasmin Mogahed

‎یا فاطر بحق فاطمه عجل لولیک الفرج The sitting of a lover is a sin, love is to move. To move towards perfection, towards a destination, towards your purpose in life. It is to move towards Mahdi, the Saviour of mankind. Love comes from heart, but shows through actions. So fill your heart with so much love and choose actions that show your love. For it will take you nowhere but to your beloved. ♡

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ بِكُمۡ رَحِيۡمًا Surely Allah is ever Merciful to you. — 4:29 “Your sin is not greater than God’s mercy. He loves to forgive. His mercy is bigger than all the water on earth combined and your sins are a drop of water in the ocean in comparison. Seek forgiveness, always.”

السلام 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘗𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 “The road to tranquility is not a state of being. It is a path that has to be walked upon and deeds that need to be done in order for us to reach that station where we are at peace with ourselves. Part of the desire to achieve tranquility has been embedded in ourselves. 𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘩. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘹𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘺, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘺 𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘩. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘵, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘩.’ Tranquility and inner peace can only arrive when we reach a position where we know the reality of our life, and the Majesty of Allah. It is understanding the verse of Surah Ar-Rahman where Allah says: ‘𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘢𝘫𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘏𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴.’ — 55:26-7 Whatever is on earth will perish. Anything that makes us worried or sad will go away. And whatever makes us irritable and angry is transient. Everything that is done without seeking the pleasure of God will just go, but that which is done seeking His pleasure and His Grace, will endure and live on. This changes our perspective on life completely. Death, loss, heartbreak, and detachment are no longer as painful as they used to be, because at the end of the day, expectations come down to zero. When one expects nothing, everything they get is a source of pleasure, and everything they do not get won’t be as troublesome. One learns to forgive those who hurt them and cherish those who love them..”

“God knows what soil your seedling soul needs to blossom. He gives you people to love you, to leave you, to inspire you, to doubt you, and to believe in you. Out of His love, God lets the world hurt you and break you, not because He wants to destroy you, but because He wants to show you your hidden strengths that can only be manifested in the cocoon of trials. This is one of the reasons the Prophet says, ‘If Allah wants to do good to somebody He afflicts him with trials.’ God takes us into the cave of difficulty and pain when there are gems for us to find there. God pushes us to the edge of the cliff when He wants us to learn how to fly. The difficulties we face can act as catalysts for self-discovery and growth.”

“𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘱 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘔𝘦, 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘱𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘞𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘔𝘦, 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘳𝘶𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶.” — Hadith Qudsi “We may be slow in repentance, but God is swift in His mercy, generosity, forgiveness, and grace. The following interaction between two great mystical masters beautifully articulates God’s mercy: The eighth-century sage Salih of Qaswin said to his students, ‘Keep knocking on the door of Allah and never stop, for by His mercy, Allah will eventually open His door for those who sincerely seek Him.’ The mystic Rabia Al-Adawiyya overheard this statement as she was walking by the mosque and said, ‘Oh Salih, who said Allah’s door is closed to begin with?’ Rabia understood that Allah’s love is not dependent on our actions, but that it is His love that inspires us to knock to begin with. Like the sun draws the plants to turn their face in submission to its light, God calls us to turn to Him so that we may grow through Him.” Like a wise man once said, “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘵𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘭𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘺, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘏𝘪𝘮, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘦𝘯.” “Prayer is not you reaching out for God, it is you responding to God, who first reached out to you. It is only when our seedling hearts submit to God’s light that we can harvest the hidden fruits of love that He planted within our spirit. And no matter how many hundreds of millions of steps we take away from God, it takes just a single thought to return.
