After queries from various new aspirants for the upcoming JKP SI posts here is the detailed strategy for JKP Sub inspector To all the aspirants who intend to participate in this coveted exam which offers avenues for public service & a vibrant career should keep in mind before starting, this journey isn't going to be easy and should start accordingly .JKP SI is a multi tier exam with MCQ type paper followed by physical standards test & medical examination .So in order to ace this exam balance between MCQ type exam physical is must and one needs to chart out strategy accordinly .First of all let me first focus on the first tier of examination which comprises of 120 MCQ type question carrying marks of 150 with negative marking ( according to latest JKPSI paper / syllabus ).The syllabus of JKP SI can be downloaded from internet or official website of JKSSB .This syllabus is almost similar to JKAS civil service exam comprising of HISTORY POLITY ENVIRONMENT ECONOMICS GEOGRAPHY CURRENT AFFAIRS COMPUTERS GENERAL SCIENCE JK Reorganisation Act And CSAT comprising Reasoning and Mental Ability So to ace these portions in a holistic manner one needs a booklist that is important & a must read in order to cover the syllabus in a holistic manner THE BOOKLIST IS AS UNDER LAKSHMIKANTG POLITY MODERN, MEDIEVAL AND ANCIENT HISTORY ONLY SUNYA IAS or ONLY ias or summary notes of ncert ...Whatever one is comfortable with but please do follow only one . GEOGRAPHY 11TH & 12TH NCERT ... only two fundamentals of physical geography & india physical environment if lack of time ...one can refer videos of amit sengupta for geography he has covered these books ALTAS FOR GEOGRAPHY MAPPING ..REFER YOUTUBE FOR MAPPING For enviornment shankar ias or only ias or sunya ias booklet ...one can use only 1 and update from internet & use net extensively . National parks .. endangered species tiger reserves biosphere reserves etc Economics ... NCERT summary notes or Sunya ias or only ias booklet ( and refer any good youtube mentor for economics for more clarity) along with budget & summary of economic survey are important for latest schemes and government programs ( If one has time one can refer to any standard book of upsc for economics ) For JK Reorganisation Act one can download the pdf from net and try to remember all important sections , questions are directly asked For computer Any pdf from internet related to SSC or banking would suffice ( extensively solve mcq regarding basics from pdf or youtube ) For general science any pdf regarding SSC can be downloaded from internet or 9th +10th ncerts for the same ( MCQ or one liner for science are imporant ) For CSAT ...one needs to refer to any good mentor on youtube and make notes of all the important topics for revision and practice questions accordingly .. One can refer to banking videos of aptitude and reasoning or CSAT for UPSC /JKPSC for mere clarity Youtube channels for reasoning & aptitude ..study smart /UNGIST/careee definer etc Now the most important aspect is current affairs one can refer to Study IQ MCQ paid version current affairs ... Indologus PDF 's free from telegram DEWASHISH OFFICIAL CHANNEL ON TELEGRAM for precise & lucid current affairs monthly PDFS (if one has time & is also preparating for civil service one can follow vision ias monthly or insights or sunya or only ias whatever one deems fit ) Also tests are important for gauging ones preparation and getting a hold of exam like conditions ..do as many tests as you can as if you are giving exam and then do a thorough analysis of the same tests ..Plus one can do topic wise/ subject wise MCQ practice and such PDFS can be easily downloaded from the internet along with answers ...
