Brian Niccol was born on May 20, 1974, in the United States. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
Before joining Chipotle,Niccol worked at Taco Bell,where he held various positions,including Chief Marketing Officer and later CEO.During his tenure,he was credited with revitalizing the brand through innovative marketing campaigns and menu enhancements.
Did you know that Niccol takes over as CEO of Starbucks on Sept.9,2024, he is set to receive an annual salary of $1.6 million.He received a signing bonus of $10 million and was given $75 million in stock options to compensate for his forfeiture of Chipotle equity.The contract,if paid out in full,would bring Niccolβs pay to $113.2m.He was paid $22.5m at Chipotle in 2023,and $17.2m a year earlier.
