The goal is to find the shortest path from the starting point to the goal point while avoiding the obstacles. We continue this process, selecting the open node with the lowest f-value and expanding it, until we reach the goal point "G". At each step, we update the f-value and the parent node for each open node. The A* search algorithm guarantees that it will find the shortest path as long as the heuristic function h(n) is admissible, meaning that it never overestimates the actual cost of reaching the goal.
