Price has moved into the correction trendline. This is where I’m watching for a clean breakdown and structure confirmation.
Wait for a breakdown below the higher low, which simply means the end of this bullish correction trendline, then we look for the trade.

Price never broke the highlighted lower low as expected. So stayed out.

Price broke the bearish trendline, retested the support zone, and started forming higher highs and higher lows.
The key moment was the break of the previous high and it happened with a strong candle.
That gave us a much cleaner bullish setup.
You can see, using trendlines in combination with trend definition through price action, gives you clear signals to act upon.

| 20 |  Understanding Trend With Price Action
One of the simplest ways to identify a trend is by looking at market structure.
In a bullish trend, price creates:
Higher Highs + Higher Lows 📈
In a bearish trend, price creates:
Lower Highs + Lower Lows 📉
Look at this USDJPY example 👆
Price was moving in a bullish structure, creating higher highs and higher lows. But once the last higher low was broken, price formed a lower low.
That is our first warning that the bullish trend is no longer as strong as before.
Then price created a Lower High.
This is where you need to become patient and start watching for confirmation, break of last lower low confirms trend change.
⚠️ Important: A trend on one timeframe can simply be a correction of the trend on a higher timeframe.
That’s why I always recommend top-down analysis
Don’t make trading complicated.
Trend first. Entry second. Patience always. 🎯
