🌟Preparing NEAR for the Quantum Era Quantum computing is a threat to every blockchain protocol. NEAR's architecture already makes accounts and assets more quantum-secure than most chains. The Near One team is adding FIPS-204 (ML-DSA), a NIST-approved lattice-based signature scheme, as the first post-quantum signing option on NEAR. Once live, any NEAR account holder can rotate their keys to become quantum-safe with a single transaction. The NEAR Intents team is working on quantum-safe Chain Signatures for users across ecosystems. Confidential Swaps run on NEAR's confidential shard, a dedicated execution environment with no public RPC and no block explorer access. With Confidential Intents, users can issue viewkeys to whoever they choose. Selective disclosure on your terms, without exposing positions to the public chain. 💥 Applications for Legion City Nodes are now LIVE After successfully hosting 30+ NEAR Legion events, we're opening 10 Legion City Node slots to further grow NEAR's presence. Each Legion City Node will run a NEAR validator and receive a 300K NEAR delegation.
