You don't have to predict the market.
Nobody knows where gold goes next. Not us, not anyone. And that's fine.
Most traders fight this. They try to guess the next move and be right often enough to make it work. That's one of the biggest mistakes in trading, because markets don't work that way.
Elliott Wave takes a different approach. Instead of forcing one direction, it lets us map the possible scenarios. Each one comes with its own plan: where it starts, where it ends, and where it dies.
We don't know whether the blue or the red path will play out. We only know what makes each one valid, and what makes it invalid.
That's why we use a stop loss. Not because we know where the market will go, but because we know when our idea is no longer true.
You don't grow your account by being right every time. You grow it by managing both the expected and the unexpected.
Your account is a mirror of your reactions, not your predictions. | 10 220 |
| 3 | Diagonals: the one place where wave 4 can overlap wave 1.
Most traders see a wedge and think "reversal." Sometimes that's right. Sometimes it isn't.
The difference is where the diagonal appears inside the larger structure.
There are two main types.
β Leading Diagonal
It appears at the start of a move, usually as wave 1 or wave A.
Its internal structure is 5-3-5-3-5.
The move is developing, but price is still contained within a contracting structure. Once the diagonal is complete, a pullback follows, and then the real trend begins.
β Ending Diagonal
It appears near the end of a move, usually as wave 5 or wave C.
Its internal structure is 3-3-3-3-3.
Each push is weaker than the last, and the trend is running out of energy. Once it completes, the reversal is usually fast and sharp.
Same shape. Different position. Different meaning.
The key is not just to recognize the wedge.
Look at where it sits in the count and how its internal waves are developing.
Don't trade the shape. Trade the WAVES! | 11 307 |

You don't need to be right every time. You need to know what to do when you are wrong.
This is how we approach a setup.
We first map the possible scenarios, then define where an entry could make sense, where the risk should be managed and what level would invalidate the idea.
On XAGUSD, we have two possible paths. Both have their own entry and stop areas.
The important part is not predicting which one will happen with 100% accuracy.
The important part is having a plan for both.
A stop loss is not a failure. It is part of trading.
We don't try to avoid every loss. We try to keep the losses controlled when a scenario doesn't work.

This is why we start with the Daily chart.
At the beginning of the week, we shared this GBPJPY Daily analysis with our Premium members, mapping the larger correction and the key levels to watch.
Now, a few days later, the 4H chart is showing how that structure is developing.
The Daily chart gives us the bigger picture and the main scenario. Lower timeframes help us follow the move and refine the count.
Top-down analysis starts with the bigger structure. | 16 574 |
| 6 | #NAS100 #US100 πΊπΈ - (Chart Link)
Yesterday it was the #SPX500. Today, the #NAS100 is showing a very similar setup.
After five waves to the upside, a correction, likely to continue further, is coming.
The expected correction zone is marked on the chart. If the price reacts from the 50%-61.8% Fib zone, the larger uptrend should remain intact. | 16 236 |
| 7 | #SPX500 #US500 πΊπΈ - (Chart Link)
Markets spend more time correcting than trending.
If you can't read corrections, you can't read the market.
On SPX500, we're watching where this correction could end and waiting for confirmation before the next move higher.
No rush. Let the structure confirm it. | 16 570 |
| 8 | #EURUSD πͺπΊπΊπΈ - (Chart Link)
The #EURUSD rally is done for now, but the bigger trend isn't.
A pullback into the Fib 50.0β61.8 zone would be normal. This is where we expect buyers to step back in. | 17 367 |
| 9 | #XAUUSD - (Chart Link)
Yesterday's setup was invalidated. That's exactly why we publish invalidation levels.
The level was there before the move, not after it. When price broke it, the count was closed. No arguing with the chart, no holding on to an idea that stopped working.
The bigger picture has not changed. Gold stays bullish while 4,203 holds. Below that, we switch to the second scenario, and we already have it mapped.
This is what a plan looks like. It tells you when you're right and when you're not.
And that's the part most people miss. As a trader, you are not a forecaster. You are a risk manager. Your job is not to be right every time, it's to know what you'll do when you're wrong. | 21 216 |

Elliott Wave has three rules you can't break. One of them says wave four must stay out of wave one's territory.
That's the line in the sand on EURUSD right now.
A break above the red trend line would open the way for the trend to continue higher. | 19 294 |
| 12 | #XAUUSD - (Chart Link)
Yesterday we said gold is in a wave 4 correction. Looking closer, the inner structure is made of three-wave moves.
That means wave 4 can form as a WXY, or as an ABCDE triangle.
If price drops below 4,605.11, we follow the green arrow. If it holds, we follow the blue one and watch for the triangle break. | 21 295 |
| 13 | #XAUUSD - (Chart Link)
Gold's 2nd wave was quite deep, so the 4th wave may stay more shallow.
For now, this looks more like a short pause than a major correction. The upward trend will then continue. | 22 057 |
| 14 | #DXY πΊπΈ - (Chart Link)
The dollar will continue to lose value; although we may see a rise in the coming days, this will not go beyond a correction and the dollar will continue to fall.
Consequently, the major currency pairs will generally move in line with this trend. | 21 357 |

β #Gold spent weeks looking weak. Now it's spending days looking unstoppable.
That's how the market works. The boring phase builds the strong one.

β Elliott Wave is not a crystal ball. It's a map. Nobody predicts the road ahead, but knowing your position changes every decision you make. | 25 066 |

β When wave structure and Fibonacci levels work together, the market starts to make much more sense and #XAGUSD is a great example of that today. | 25 669 |

Price is just the result.
The wave structure is the cause.

#DAX is building a triangle, and triangles do not last forever.
One last leg down to finish it, then wave v takes over toward 27,000.
