Scottish Govt's Vax Passport Sends Private Data To Amazon & Microsoft (report) Scotland is allowing private companies, including tech giants, to scoop up data through its Covid passport scheme. The Daily Record reports, “We have learned the NHS mobile phone app which presents the personal medical information in the form of a QR Code shares data with companies including Amazon, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Royal Mail and an AI facial recognition firm.” It's claimed users were not informed their data would be shared. A spox for Liberty group says it has created a "two-tier society" and "many people in Scotland have been coerced." Sam Grant added his concerns that there was no opt out for private data being shared.
