الكلمتين تأتي بنفس المعنى (تشابه - متشابه) ولكن هناك فرق بسيط يكمن في الإستخدام، وهو الذي سأقوم بتوضيحه لكم من خلال التعريف بالكلمتين مع ذكر بعض الأمثلة عليهما:
🥇 First (أولاً): Similar
It means that two or more things or people are not identical, but are almost the same.
حيث أنها تعني أن شيئين أو أكثر أو أشخاص غير متطابقين، لكنهم متشابهين تقريبًا.
1️⃣ My sister & I look similar, but she is taller than me.
2️⃣ Our cars are very similar, but they are not the same model and year.
3️⃣ I live in a house that is similar to my brothers house.
4️⃣ All the houses on the block look similar.
🥈 Second (ثانياً): Alike
It means that two or more things are identical or almost identical.
حيث أنها تعني أن شيئين أو أكثر متطابقان أو متطابقان تقريبًا.
1️⃣ Our cars are exactly alike, we bought the same model.
2️⃣ My brothers dress alike.
3️⃣ The girls bought two phones that look alike.
4️⃣ All the houses on the block look alike.

2️⃣ ثانياً، سنتعرف على فروقات أحرف الجر الموضحة أعلاه عند إستخدامها مع المكان:
➖ حرف الجر (In) >>>> في
🖍 عندما نتحدث عن المكان، نستخدم ‘in’ للإشارة إلى الموقع أو المكان، بمعنى في:
I lived in Florida.
عشت في فلوريدا.
The city of Bangkok is in Thailand.
مدينة بانكوك في تايلاند
I am in my room.
انا في غرفتي.
➖ حرف الجر (On) >>>> على
🖍 عندما نتحدث عن المكان، نستخدم كلمة ‘on’ عندما نتحدث عن سطح شيء ما. حيث يقع شيء ما على سطح شيء آخر. اي بمعنى آخر شيء على شيء بالتلامس.
“The papers are on the coffee table.”
الاوراق على طاولة القهوة.
“I left the keys on the counter.”
تركت المفاتيح على العداد.
➖ حرف الجر (At) >>>>> في
🖍 عندما نتحدث عن المكان، نستخدم ‘at’ للإشارة إلى موقع معين.
“We are meeting at the cafe.”
نحن نجتمع في المقهى.
“The football game is at the stadium.”
لعبة كرة القدم في الاستاد.
🎶 حروف الجر (On, At, In):
عند إستخدامها للدلالة على الزمان تكون بنفس المعنى (في)، طبعاً لكل حرف استخدامه الخاص نلاحظ مع بعض:
🖍 عندما نتحدث عن الزمان، نستخدم ‘in’ للإشارة إلى وقت غير محدد في اليوم أو الشهر أو الموسم أو العام.
“I always brush my teeth in the morning.”
أغسل دائما اسناني في الصباح.
“My birthday is in June.”
عيد ميلادي في شهر يونيو.
“It’s always cold in winter.”
البرد دائماً في الشتاء.
“My brother was born in 1999.”
كانت ولادة اخي في عام 1999.
🖍 عندما نتحدث عن الزمان، نستخدم كلمة ‘on’ للإشارة إلى التواريخ والأيام المحددة.
“He was born on September 24th.”
كانت ولادته في الرابع والعشرين من شهر سبتمبر.
“I go to the gym on Mondays and Wednesdays.”
اذهب إلى الصالة الرياضية في يوم الاثنين والخميس.
🖍 عندما نتحدث عن الزمان، نستخدم كلمة ‘at’ للأوقات المحددة (الساعة). على سبيل المثال:
“I will see you at 8:00 pm.”
سأراك في الساعة 8 مساءاً.
“My interview is at 3:00 pm.”
مقابلتي الشخصية في الساعة 3 مساءاً.

1️⃣ أولاً، سنتعرف على الفروقات أحرف الجر الموضحة أعلاه عند إستخدامها مع الزمان:
كما يتبين معنا أدناه بأن حروف الجر هذه، تستخدم للتعبيرات الدالة على الزمان، ولها نفس المعنى عند إستخدامها للدلالة على الزمان، ولكنها مختلفة عند الإستخدام وهي كالتالي:
(On, At, In) >>>> في
كل حرف جر من الأحرف الثلاثة أعلاه له استخدام مختلف عن البقية، سنتعرف على الفروقات المتشابهة بين تلك الحروف بالتفصيل الممل.

➖ نستخدم Arrive in عندما نعبر عن وصولنا لمدن، او دول او نشير الى زمن وصولنا كشهر او تاريخ او فصل .....
Lee Young arrived in Tokyo yesterday.
Sara has arrived in New York.
Johnson arrived in England last night.
My friends arrived in June.
The first immigrants arrived in 1947.
⚠️ لا تستخدم حرف الجر to بعد arrive فهو من الاخطاء الشائعة ⛔️
➖ نستخدم Arrive on عندما نعبر عن يوم وصولنا ( الايام فقط):
My parents arrived on Monday.
Fatima arrives on Friday.
➖ نستخدم Arrive at عندما نعبر عن وصولنا الى اماكن داخل المدينة مثلاً محطة قطار ، محطة باص ، متحف ، مطار ، صالة سينما ، مطعم الخ .. أي مباني او اي اجزاء من المباني.
I arrived at the station just before the train left.
We arrived at the museum but found it was closed all day.
2️⃣ Second (Reach):
نستخدم reach وهي ايضا بمعنى يصل الى ...... او يبلغ شيئا اوهدفا ولكن بدون استخدام اي حرف جر بعدها
The plane reached Riyadh on time.
I can't reach the top of the door.
3️⃣ Third (Get to):
نستخدم get to وهي ايضا بمعنى يصل الى ..... وهي الاكثر شيوعا واستخداما في المحادثات
It was a long hike, but we finally got to the top of the mountain.
We got to the airport just on time.
We got to London late in the Saturday morning.
