Seven persons P, Q, R, S, T, U and V lives in different places viz. Village, Beach, Forrest, Hill, Ship, Cave and Tree house, but not necessarily in the same order. Each one had a different animal as a pet viz. Sparrow, Collared dove, Zebra, Pigeon, Squirrels, Buck and Rabbit.
Q is live in a Forrest and S does not have a Buck or Zebra. T has a Pigeon and lives on a Beach. The person from Hill has Squirrels. P who has Sparrow does not live in a Village. R who have Collared dove lives in a Tree house. V, who lives in a Ship, has a rabbit as pet.

सात व्यक्ति P, Q, R, S, T, U और V भिन्न स्थानों जैसे: गांव, समुद्री तट, जंगल, पहाड़ी, जहाज, गुफा और ट्री हाउस में रहते हैं, लेकिन इनका क्रम यही हो आवश्यक नहीं है। प्रत्येक के पास पालतू जानवर के रूप में भिन्न जानवर हैं जैसे: चिड़िया, कोल्लार्ड डॉव, ज़ेबरा, कबूतर, गिलहरी, हिरन और ख़रगोश।
Q एक जंगल में रहता है और S के पास हिरन या ज़ेबरा नहीं है। T एक कबूतर है और समुद्री तट पर रहता है। वह व्यक्ति, जो पहाड़ी से है उसके पास गिलहरी है। P जिसके पास चिड़िया है, गांव में नहीं रहता। R जिसके पास कोल्लार्ड डॉव है, एक ट्री हाउस में रहता है। V, जो जहाज में रहता है उसके पास पालतू जानवर के रूप में ख़रगोश है।

Seven competitive eaters participated in eating and drinking competition. The persons who participated in both events were P, Q, R, S, T, U and V. The winner was to be selected based upon the time taken to complete the food/drinks. Each person completed their food/drinks in different time periods, i.e. no two persons completed their food/drinks at the same time. Each person obtained a particular position according to his performance. The one who got the top position performed better than others while one who got the lowest position performed worse. P ‘s position in eating competition was just above U but in drinking competition he was just below R. S 's position in drinking competition was just above V but in eating competition, he was just below T. No persons were assigned positions between P and S. At least four persons got positions above P in eating competition and at least four persons are below him in drinking competition. R did not get the highest or the lowest position in any race. U‘s performance was better than V’s in both the competitions.

खाने और पीने की एक प्रतियोगिता में सात प्रतियोगी ग लेते हैं। जिस व्यक्ति ने दोनों प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लिया है, वे हैं P, Q, R, S, T, U और V। विजेता का चयन खाने/पीने को समाप्त करने में लिए गए समय के आधार किया गया है। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अपना खाना/पीना भिन्न समय अवधि में पूरा करता है, जैसे: कोई भी दो व्यक्ति एक ही समय पर अपना खाना/पीना ख़त्म नहीं करते। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अपने प्रदर्शन के अनुसार एक विशेष स्थान प्राप्त करता है। वह व्यक्ति जो शीर्ष स्थान प्राप्त करता है, वह अन्य से बेहतर प्रदर्शन करता है, जबकि वह व्यक्ति जो सबसे निचला स्थान प्राप्त करता है सबसे खराब प्रदर्शन करता है। खाने की प्रतियोगिता में P की स्थिति U से ठीक ऊपर थी, लेकिन पीने की प्रतियोगिता में वह R के ठीक नीचे था। पीने की प्रतियोगिता में S की स्थिति V से ठीक ऊपर थी, लेकिन खाने की प्रतियोगिता में वह T के ठीक नीचे था। किन्हीं भी दो व्यक्तियों का स्थान P और S के बीच नहीं है। खाने की प्रतियोगिता में कम से कम चार व्यक्ति P से ऊपर स्थान प्राप्त करते हैं और पीने की प्रतियोगिता में कम से कम चार व्यक्ति P के नीचे हैं। R किसी भी रेस में सबसे उच्चतम या न्यूनतम स्थान प्राप्त नहीं करता। U का प्रदर्शन दोनों प्रतियोगिताओं में V से बेहतर था।

Seven MMA fighters A, B, C, D, E, F and G are amongst top seven pound for pound fighters and are sitting in a row. They all live at different distances from B’s house. The third rank holder sits either third to the left or third to the right of sixth rank holder, whose house from B is at 1km more distance than the average distance of the houses of all the persons from B’s house, but these two are not on the extreme ends. D’s house is 11km away from B. Rank of B is fourth and is seated fourth to the right of A, who is second ranked and is seated on the extreme end of the row. House of C is 5km away from B’s house and is the same as the average distance of all the person’s houses from B’s house. C has a higher rank than G but not higher than the rank of B. The seventh rank holder is second to the left of C, who is not third or sixth rank holder. Seventh rank holder lives one km away from B’s house. F sits next to B but is not first rank holder. G is not the one who is first ranked. The one who has the first rank lives three km away from B’s house. First rank holder is sitting at one of the ends of the row. G and D are next to each other in the sitting arrangement and but not in the rankings.

P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are eight boxers of different weight categories. There are two persons of flyweight category. They all have different ranks ranging from first to eighth but not necessarily in the same order. They all are sitting around a circular table facing to the centre of the table. No two boxers have the same ranks. Q is third to the right of S, who is seated opposite to P. The fifth rank holder and U are not near to W and S. Eighth rank holder form flyweight category is third to the left of third rank holder from lightweight category. The sixth rank holder is opposite to U who is from the bantam weight category, who is not second rank holder. Fifth rank holder is not P, U is opposite to one who is near to S. The one having first rank is sitting exactly between the third rank holder and T. There is only one boxer sitting between V and sixth rank holder. There is only one boxer sitting between seventh rank holder and second rank holder but she does not fight in lightweight category. W is fourth rank holder and not near to S but she is from middle weight category. The boxer from flyweight category does not have an odd rank but he sits second to the right of V.
