Eight persons Jetha, Daya, Goli, Tarak, Bhide, Babita, Sodhi and Popat are sitting around the octagonal table. Four of them are facing to the centre while rest are facing outside from the centre. Each person sits in the middle side of the table. Not more than two persons face in the same direction, sit together. No two persons sit opposite to each other face towards each other (that means if a person facing inside than the person sits opposite facing outside). Each of them has different number of chocolates i.e. 10, 12, 17, 21, 35, 40, 56 and 75. All the information are not necessarily in the same order.
Goli sits 3rd to the right of the one who has 17 chocolates. One person sits between Goli and Bhide, who sits opposite to Daya. Tarak sits to the immediate right of Babita, who has chocolates in a multiple of 7. Immediate neighbours of Tarak does not have 17 chocolates. The one who has 35 Chocolates, is not sit 2nd to the right of Daya. Both Daya and Babita face in the same directions and do not sit opposite to each other. Popat has 4 times chocolates than Bhide. Goli faces inside and does not have the maximum chocolates. Popat does not sit immediate left of Goli and does not face inside. Sodhi has neither prime number of chocolates nor maximum chocolates. Jetha sits immediate left to the one who has 35 chocolates. The difference between the number of chocolates of Tarak and sum of the chocolates of both of his immediate neighbours is more than 25. The person sits immediate right of Daya doesn’t have maximum chocolates. Jetha doesn’t sit to the immediate left of Daya. Tarak has more chocolates than Popat.

आठ व्यक्ति- जेठा, दया, गोली, तारक, भिडे, बबीता, सोढ़ी और पोपट अष्टभुजाकार मेज के चारो ओर बैठे हैं। उनमें से चार केंद्र की ओर मुख किये हैं जबकि बाकी केंद्र से बाहर की ओर मुख किये हैं। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति मेज की भुजा पर बैठता है। एक ही दिशा की ओर उन्मुख दो से अधिक व्यक्ति एकसाथ नहीं बैठे हैं। एक-दूसरे की विपरीत बैठे कोई भी दो व्यक्ति एक-दूसरे की ओर मुख नहीं करते हैं (इसका अर्थ है कि अगर कोई व्यक्ति केंद्र की ओर मुख किये है, तो वह केंद्र के विपरीत मुख करने वाले के सामने बैठा है)। उनमें से प्रत्येक के पास अलग-अलग संख्या- 10, 12, 17, 21, 35, 40, 56 और 75; में चॉकलेट हैं। सभी जानकारी समान क्रम में आवश्यक नहीं है।
गोली उस व्यक्ति के दाईं ओर तीसरा बैठता है जिसके पास 17 चॉकलेट हैं। एक व्यक्ति गोली और भिडे के बीच बैठता है, जो दया के विपरीत बैठता है। तारक बबीता के ठीक दांये ओर बैठता है, जिसके पास 7 के गुणक में चॉकलेट है। तारक का निकटतम पड़ोसी के पास 17 चॉकलेट नहीं हैं। जिसके पास 35 चॉकलेट हैं या के दाईं ओर दूसरा नहीं बैठता है। दया और बबिता दोनों एक दिशा में मुख करती हैं और एक दूसरे के विपरीत नहीं बैठती हैं। पोपट में भिडे की तुलना में 4 गुना चॉकलेट हैं। गोली केंद्र की ओर मुख करता है और उसके पास सबसे अधिक चॉकलेट नहीं हैं। पोपट गोली के ठीक बाएं नहीं बैठता है और केंद्र की ओर मुख नहीं करता है। सोढ़ी के पास न तो सबसे अधिक चॉकलेट हैं और न ही चॉकलेट की संख्या अभाज्य है। जेठा उस के ठीक बाएं बैठता है जिसके पास 35 चॉकलेट हैं। तारक की चॉकलेटों की संख्या और उसके दोनों निकटतम पड़ोसियों के चॉकलेट की संख्या के योग के बीच का अंतर 25 से अधिक है। दया के ठीक दाईं ओर बैठने वाले व्यक्ति के पास चॉकलेट की संख्या अधिकतम नहीं है। जेठा दया के ठीक बाएं नहीं बैठता है। तारक के पास पोपट की तुलना में अधिक चॉकलेट हैं।

Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H are members of a family and related to P in some ways. They live in a building of nine floors such that the ground floor is numbered as 1 and the topmost floor is numbered as 9. Only one person lives at one floor. Each one has different occupation viz. Doctor, Nurse, Engineer, Banker, Clerk, Musician, Actor, Singer, and Dancer but not necessarily in the same order.
B is an Engineer. C and F are not a Banker. C who is married to B is the uncle of P and he lives on an odd number floor. Three persons live between C and the one who is Doctor. C doesn’t live below floor number 7. G is the only brother of D, who is the daughter of A. There are three married couples in the family. A and C are brothers. A lives on the ground floor. Three persons live between A and his wife. E is married to F, who is the father-in-law of B. E has only two children and H has three children. A has only one son. P’s grandmother is a Nurse and lives just below C. Only three persons live between the one who is Banker and D, who lives on an even number floor below H. Only one person lives between B and the one who is a Banker. P doesn’t live on an even number and third floor. P’s sister is a Clerk. Only one person lives between the one who is an Actor and the one who is a Musician. A is not a Musician. P is a Dancer.

Yellow, Blue, White, Black, Red, Purple, Green, and Orange but not necessarily in the same order. They are from eight different states viz. Bihar, Maharashtra, UP, MP, Kerala, Goa, J&K, and Punjab but not necessarily in the same order.
The one who likes Red colour is from Punjab. Only one person sits between the one who is from MP and the one who is from J&K. Not more than three persons face inside. A doesn’t like green colour. The person from Bihar doesn’t face the one who is from Goa. F is not from UP. G sits opposite to the one who likes Blue colour. The one who likes Blue colour sits third to the right of the one who is from UP who faces inside. Only one person sits between A and the one who is from Bihar. A sits immediate left of the one who likes Blue colour. E, who faces inside sits opposite to the one who is from Bihar. H likes Red colour and sits immediate right of the one who is from UP. B is an immediate neighbor of A but he doesn’t like Blue colour. D is from Maharashtra. The person from Goa and Kerala are immediate neighbors of D. The one who likes Black colour is the immediate neighbor of C. The one who likes Green colour sits third to the right of the one who likes Black colour. G is not from J&K. The one who likes Yellow colour sits opposite to E. The one who likes Purple colour sits second to the right of F. The one who sits second to the left of F likes orange colour.

Nine persons A, B, C, D, E, P, Q, R, and S lives in a building of four floors such that the ground floor is numbered as 1 and the topmost floor is numbered as 4. Each floor has three flats such that Flat1 is in the west of Flat2 and the Flat2 is in the west of Flat3. Flat1, Flat2 and Flat3 of the floor number 1 is just below the Flat1, Flat2 and Flat3 of the second floor respectively and so on.
Three flats are vacant. Only one person lives in each flat. Four of them like fruits viz. Apple, Mango, Grapes, and Guava. Remaining persons like different colours viz. White, Black, Purple, Orange, and Blue. All the information is not necessarily in the same order.
The one who likes Guava doesn’t live just below the vacant flat. Flat3 of any floor is not vacant. The one who likes Black colour lives just below the one’s flat who likes Guava. The one who likes Guava lives on the second floor. E lives in a flat immediate west of C and both does not like Black colour. C lives on floor number 1. There is a gap of one floor between B and C and both of them live in same flat. A, who likes Apple lives on the third floor but not in Flat 3. The flat just above A is vacant. Q lives in flat just above the one who likes Mango who lives on the first floor. C doesn’t like Mango, Grapes, Purple, and Orange colour. There is a gap of one floor between P who doesn’t like Purple and S, who lives below P and also doesn’t like Guava. Both P and S live in same flat. D lives in a flat just above R. S doesn’t like any fruits and orange colour. The person living to the immediate west of S likes Blue colour. P doesn’t like Grapes.

जो अमरूद पसंद करता है वह खाली फ्लैट के ठीक नीचे नहीं रहता है। किसी भी मंजिल का फ्लैट 3 खाली नहीं है। जो व्यक्ति काला रंग पसंद करता है वह उस व्यक्ति के फ्लैट के ठीक नीचे रहता है जो अमरूद पसंद करता है। अमरूद पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति दूसरी मंजिल पर रहता है।
