Thirteen chairs are placed in a row from left to right and ten persons i.e. P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X and Y are sitting on them(only one person sits on one chair) and all of them are facing in north direction while three chairs remains vacant. They play different kinds of games i.e. Badminton, Polo, Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, Football, Cricket, Hockey, Golf and Tennis. All the information is not necessarily in the same order.
Two chairs are placed between X and Y. U sits second to the right of R. R doesn’t play tennis and football. X sits fourth to the right of the one who plays badminton. No one sits between R and S. R sits fourth from one of the extreme ends. Y is not an immediate neighbor of R. No one sits to the right of the one who plays basketball. Three chairs are placed between R and X who plays either golf or cricket. V plays baseball and sit at one of the extreme end. Only one person sits between Y and X. U is the only neighbor of Q. The one who plays cricket is an immediate neighbor of Y. P sits to the right of X but not at immediate right. W doesn’t play badminton. The one who plays hockey sits to the right of P. Four chairs are placed between Y and S who plays volleyball. P doesn’t play football.

एक पंक्ति में तेरह कुर्सियाँ बाएं से दाएं रखी गई है और उन पर दस व्यक्ति अर्थात् P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X और Y बैठे हैं (एक कुर्सी पर केवल एक व्यक्ति बैठा है) और सभी उत्तर दिशा की ओर उन्मुख है जबकि तीन कुर्सियां खाली हैं। वे अलग-अलग खेल अर्थात् बैडमिंटन, पोलो, बास्केटबॉल, वॉलीबॉल, बेसबॉल, फुटबॉल, क्रिकेट, हॉकी, गोल्फ और टेनिस खेलते हैं। सभी जानकारी जरूरी नहीं कि समान क्रम में हो।
X और Y के बीच में दो कुर्सियाँ रखी गई हैं। U, R के दाएं से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। R टेनिस और फुटबॉल नहीं खेलता है। X, बैडमिंटन खेलने वाले व्यक्ति के दाएं से चौथे स्थान पर बैठा है। R और S के बीच कोई नहीं बैठा है। R, किसी एक अंतिम छोर से चौथे स्थान पर बैठा है। Y, R का निकटतम पड़ोसी नहीं है। बास्केटबॉल खेलने वाले व्यक्ति के दाईं ओर कोई नहीं बैठा है। R और X, के मध्य तीन कुर्सियां रखी गई है, जो गोल्फ या क्रिकेट खेलते हैं। V बेसबॉल खेलता है और किसी एक अंतिम छोर पर बैठा है। Y और X के मध्य केवल एक व्यक्ति बैठा है। U, Q का एकमात्र पड़ोसी है। क्रिकेट खेलने वाला व्यक्ति, Y का निकटतम पड़ोसी है। P, X के दाईं ओर बैठा है, लेकिन ठीक दाएं नहीं। W बैडमिंटन नहीं खेलता है। हॉकी खेलने वाला व्यक्ति P के दाएं बैठा है। Y और S के मध्य चार कुर्सियाँ रखी गई हैं जो वॉलीबॉल खेलता हैं। P फुटबॉल नहीं खेलता है।

Green Box is not placed next to Purple box (as it can be placed anywhere above or below Purple). Pink box is placed below White box which is not placed at topmost. Green box is placed to the east of Pink box. Grey box is placed below Pink box which is below Black box. Violet box is placed below Green box but above Grey box. विभिन्न रंगों के नौ बॉक्स को दी गई संरचना में रखे गए हैं। नीला बॉक्स हरे बॉक्स के ऊपर रखा गया है। जामुनी बॉक्स को बैंगनी बॉक्स के पश्चिम में रखा गया है। हरा बॉक्स जामुनी बॉक्स के निकट में नहीं रखा गया है (क्योंकि इसे जामुनी के ऊपर या नीचे कहीं भी रखा जा सकता है)। गुलाबी बॉक्स को सफेद बॉक्स के नीचे रखा गया है जिसे सबसे ऊपर नहीं रखा गया है। हरा बॉक्स, गुलाबी बॉक्स के पूर्व में रखा गया है। स्लेटी बॉक्स को पिंक बॉक्स के नीचे रखा गया है जो काले बॉक्स के नीचे है। बैंगनी बॉक्स को हरे बॉक्स के नीचे लेकिन स्लेटी बॉक्स के ऊपर रखा गया है। सफ़ेद बॉक्स को नीले बॉक्स के निकट नहीं रखा गया है और न ही काले बॉक्स के पूर्व में रखा गया है। लाल बॉक्स हरे बॉक्स के पश्चिम में नहीं है।

Eight persons have their birthdays on two different dates i.e., 3 or 12 of four different months viz. March, June, July and August. The persons born in different cities i.e., Bhopal, Lucknow, Haridwar, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune but not necessarily in the same order.
The person who was born in Delhi was born in the month having least numbers of days. Three persons were born between D and the one who was born in Delhi. The number of persons born before D is same as the number of persons born after E who was born in Haridwar. The one who was born in Bhopal was born just before G and born just after F. H was born in Mumbai. One person was born between F and B. B was not born in March. The person who was born in Pune was born just before the one who was born in Chandigarh and just after A. B was not born in Pune. C was born on even numbered date. B was not born in Dehradun.

There are three floors in a given building such that floor 2 is above floor 1 and floor 3 is above floor 2. In the building there are three flats in each floor such that Flat A is in the west of Flat B, which is in the west of Flat C. In the building each Flat on each floor has an area of 10080 ft and each flat has some certain number of room and no two flat has same number of rooms.
The area of each rooms of one of the flat on the odd number floor is 1120 ft. The floor having 9 rooms is one of the floors below the floor having each room area of 1440 ft. The area of each room on floor 3rd of Flat A is 1400 ft more than the area of the flat having 9 rooms. Total number of Rooms in all the flats of floor 2nd is 15. Number of Rooms in Flat C of 2nd floor is more than the number of Rooms in Flat A of 2nd floor but less than the number of rooms in Flat B of 2nd floor. The flat having each room area of 1680 ft is in the west of flat having each room area of 1008 ft. There is only one floor between the floor having 2 rooms and the floor having each room area 2520 ft but in the same flat. The flat having each room area 2016 ft is on even number floor. The Floor having each room area of 1260 ft is kept immediately below the floor having 5 rooms in the same flat number.

दी गई इमारत में तीन मंजिलें इस प्रकार हैं कि मंजिल 2, मंजिल 1 से ऊपर और मंजिल 3, मंजिल 2 से ऊपर है। इमारत में प्रत्येक मंजिल में तीन फ्लैट हैं इस प्रकार कि फ्लैट A फ्लैट B के पश्चिम में है, जो कि फ्लैट C के पश्चिम में है। इमारत में प्रत्येक मंजिल पर प्रत्येक फ्लैट का क्षेत्रफल 10080 फीट है और प्रत्येक फ्लैट में कुछ निश्चित कमरे हैं और दो फ्लैट में कमरे समान संख्या में नहीं है। विषम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर किसी एक फ्लैट के प्रत्येक कमरे का क्षेत्रफल 1120 फीट है। 9 कमरों वाली मंजिल 1440 फीट क्षेत्रफल के प्रत्येक कमरे वाली मंजिल के नीचे की मंजिलों में से एक है। फ्लैट A की तीसरी मंजिल के प्रत्येक कमरे का क्षेत्रफल, 9 कमरों वाले फ्लैट के क्षेत्रफल से 1400 फीट अधिक है। दूसरी मंजिल के सभी फ्लैटों में कमरों की कुल संख्या 15 है। दूसरी मंजिल के फ्लैट C में कमरों की संख्या, दूसरी मंजिल के फ्लैट A में कमरों की संख्या से अधिक है लेकिन दूसरी मंजिल के फ्लैट B में कमरों की संख्या से कम है। 1680 फीट क्षेत्रफल के प्रत्येक कमरे वाला फ्लैट 1008 फीट क्षेत्रफल के प्रत्येक कमरे वाले फ्लैट के पश्चिम में है। 2 कमरे वाली मंजिल और 2520 फीट क्षेत्रफल के प्रत्येक कमरे वाली मंजिल के बीच केवल एक मंजिल है लेकिन समान फ्लैट में है। 2016 फीट क्षेत्रफल का प्रत्येक कमरे वाला फ्लैट सम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर है। 1260 फीट क्षेत्रफल के प्रत्येक कमरे वाली मंजिल समान फ्लैट संख्या में 5 कमरे वाली मंजिल के ठीक नीचे है।
