Some SOCIAL RULES That Can Help You. 1. Don’t call someone more than twice continuously. If they don’t pick up your call, presume they have something important to attend to. 2. LEARN TO ENDURE CHALLENGING TIMES IN HOPE ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Perseverance is such an important virtue for every Christian to have. The Bible admonishes us to add it to our faith: “…Also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance…” (2 PETER 1:5-6). The key word that describes what the Apostle Peter is talking about is perseverance—‘ stickability!’ It refers to staying power; the ability to “keep keeping on” in the face of opposition! No matter what happens, refuse to buckle under any pressure; endure with hope. Things may look hard and very challenging; if you ever find yourself in such a situation, endure; go through it! Stick with what you believe! Don’t give up. In your life, learn to endure hardship with hope. Some people endure without hope, but perseverance without hope is useless. Your perseverance must be in expectation of a positive outcome; you’re hopeful of a better and brighter day ahead, and you create the picture in your mind. Tough situations are for tough minds; those who faint or cower in the day of adversity are of little strength (Proverbs 24:10). Therefore, endure hardness with hope, joy, and gladness, knowing that in all things, you’re more than a conqueror. ELIMINATE FEAR! ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME There’s no reason for you to be afraid of the devil, because Jesus defeated and paralyzed him, and gave you the victory. So, you’ve triumphed over Satan already; never be afraid of him! Jesus has the keys of hell and of death, which means you don’t even have to be afraid of death. Death has also been defeated; it’s last enemy that shall be destroyed (1 Corinthians 15:26). So, why would you accommodate fear? Jesus said, “the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me” (John 14:30). This was the testimony of the Son of God. This should be your testimony as well. Every now and then, you should declare: “Satan has nothing in me! He doesn’t have his doubts in me! He doesn’t have his fears in me!” Thoughts of fear will cripple your faith, and stop the power of God from flowing in your direction. So, when negative thoughts – thoughts of fear, defeat and frustration – come to you, eliminate them speedily. Fear is a tormenting spirit that creates the perfect environment for Satan to intimidate and dominate people’s lives. However, the Holy Spirit in you helps you deal with fear; He’s the One that invigorates you with miracle-working ability in your inner man. He emboldens and strengthens you on the inside, dispelling fear of every kind. Perhaps, you’ve been having fears in your life – fear of terror, fear that something terrible might happen to you, stop the fear! The Bible says, “He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler" (Psalm 91:4). Wow! This is the Lord talking here, assuring you that there’s nothing to fear, because He’s with you always (Hebrews 13:5). Whether in the nighttime or daytime, He protects you and takes care of you. Therefore, rid your heart of fear! Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19)

THE MEANING OF EASTER - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME But one of the soldiers, at this point, this was when Jesus, was on the cross been crucified, he was not the first person to be crucified in those days, but something happens here that is significant, and you going to take notice of it, Jesus was already dead on the cross and just to find out whether or not he was dead, the soldier comes with a spear, and pierces him, through his side and the Bible says forthwith came there out blood and water. (JOHN 19:33 -34) John 19:35, means there is something about this water and blood that came out of Jesus that was so important to the writer that made him say it was a sign. And on this occasion, he lets us know a sign has just taken place, blood and water just came out of the body of Jesus and he says the one who saw it bore record. We know that his record is true and he has written it that you meant to believe, what does he want you to believe, turn to John 2:19-21, John said Jesus was talking about the temple of his body, John understood he was talking about his body. Jesus Christ was the Passover lamb, on that great day. That night, that lamb was killed, and John already alluded to that, he already said it. Jesus was our Passover lamb. When Jesus died, he died when that Passover lamb was supposed to be slathered. And now John is standing and he remembers going to the temple seeing blood flowing asks and he was told a soldier pierced the side of the mater and blood and water poured out, but the man is already dead, he says forthwith came out, that means immediately, as though there were still pressure, ordinarily it shouldn’t come out like that; he bore witness, he said that’s blood and water coming out John 2:19-21, he was talking about the temple of his body, Halleluiah!! So who is Jesus? He is our lamb sacrificed, the new temple, the new and living way when he died, he tore the old temple in two opening and the new and living way, that old temple is gone, the new and living temple is here. Jesus Christ is our temple. The lamb was slain once, you never have to come to the temple again and see the blood, and he was slain once and for all. Glory to God! CONSISTENT PROGRESS ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day" (PROVERBS 4:18) One of the things you want to see in your life is consistent success. When I say, "I'm moving upward and forward"; it's not an exaggeration or a confession of something that I want to happen; no! It's the reality of my life, made possible by the power of God's Word. I'm always making progress; that's our life in Christ. You can be very consistent, making progress in your work, in ministry, and in every area of your life. For the Christian, being circumstantially prosperity isn't prosperity. Some people can be prosperous because of the conditions of the time. When the economic conditions are favourable, they do well, but when there's a change, their prosperity takes a nosedive. Study Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; they prospered, walking with God, irrespective of the economic conditions of the times. Genesis 26:12-14 talks about Isaac, and how he prospered so much at a time of famine, that the entire country envied him: "Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him." It shall be a day of surprises- some “Big names” may miss the flight while some “Less known” may be on board. 1 Cor 1:27 15. When the event is over there shall be revival among those who have chosen to stay behind not because there will be a second chance, no, but because the reality of the event would have struck them like a thunderbolt. When the event is over, those who are left behind shall no longer be safe to worship in their gigantic, fanciful and multi-billion Dollars/Naira cathedrals. When this great event is over, each time those who will miss their flight manage to gather for worship, they will pay attention to only one sermon- whether they gather in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North or South America; the sermon will only centre on “How to Meet the Divine Standard and Join the Other Saints”. Rev 14:6-7 22. It is also worthy to note that those who will be left behind will never have any business with comedians at their altars anymore. No!
