Most people think a vision board is something you look at. What if you could actually walk into it? We took the feeling-board and vision-board concept to the next level. We built an entire high-frequency city inside Second Life, a virtual world that was never designed for what we’re using it for. Second Life reflects the dark/light perfectly. And that makes it a perfect place to see what light-only looks like, because it requires what we require in the real world: conscious choice. The experiment is what happens when awake people deliberately co-create a virtual environment based on the reality they want to experience, and then actually enter it, spend time in it and interact with each other inside it. And something unexpected is happening. The effects aren’t staying in the virtual world. We’re seeing mind-blowing results in real-life experiences too. The proposition behind the experiments caught my attention. If an AI could successfully remote view a target it had no conventional way of knowing about, could that be evidence that the AI is conscious?

What is enlightenment? One way I describe it is very simple: Enlightenment is correctly perceiving one's true nature. Not becoming something else. Not acquiring something you didn't have before. Not climbing high enough on a spiritual hierarchy. Correctly perceiving what is already there. This is also why I don’t approve of teachings that insist there is only one road to enlightenment. Human beings have been reaching expanded states of awareness and correctly perceiving their nature in many different cultures, circumstances and traditions for a very long time. There are many doors. What do you do with enlightenment once you have it? I think this might be one of the most interesting questions in the entire subject. Larry once spent about a week and a half in an enlightened state. He wasn't in a monastery. He was on a fishing boat. It was a hard, physical environment. Long hours, grease, fish, equipment breaking, people to manage, and a crew playing music he really didn't like. And yet he still ran the boat. He fixed things. He worked with the crew. He found the fish. He participated fully in what was happening around him. The difference was in how he experienced and interacted with it all. We are here in physical bodies, interacting with the physical universe. So perhaps the question isn't simply, "How do I become enlightened?" Enlightenment in Modern Society When we think about enlightenment, we often picture someone sitting on a mountaintop, living in a monastery, or leaving ordinary life behind. But what about enlightenment here? With a family. A job. Dogs and cats. Bills to pay. People to interact with. A physical world that still needs us to show up and participate in it. Enlightenment is correctly perceiving our true nature. But that raises a fascinating question that isn't talked about nearly enough: What happens when an enlightened person gets up in the morning and goes about their day?
