Iran says a U.S. strike hit the Shalamcheh border crossing with Iraq, a key pilgrimage route, with no casualties reported.
-Iran's Tasnim news agency confirms a U.S. attack targeting the area around the passenger terminal at the Shalamcheh border crossing with Iraq
-Tasnim reports NO casualties, with the movement of pilgrims proceeding without interruption
-Shalamcheh sits in Khuzestan province near Basra, a major land route for Iranian pilgrims traveling to the Shiite holy sites in Iraq
-It fits the campaign's push into Iran's southwest, alongside recent strikes on Ahvaz, Behbahan, and Mahshahr
-The crossing also carries cross-border traffic and supply routes near the Iraqi frontier
The border-crossing target extends the interdiction logic that drove the bridge campaign: cutting the routes that move people and materiel between Iran and Iraq, where Tehran's militia network operates.
If the crossing itself was the aim rather than something military beside it, the campaign is now reaching the seams between Iran and its western neighbor.

California. Domestic violence suspect shot and killed by police after leading officers on a car chase in Simi Valley. The man, who was armed, reportedly told family members that if police were called, he would 'shoot it out' with them. No officers were injured. The 37-year-old suspect is deceased.
The man was seen plowing through a police motorcycle before barreling into someone's yard. Police say they had probable cause to arrest the man for domestic battery and elder abuse.

Cool paper looking at how AIs solve unbounded, complex business problems in many fields by testing how well they can crack the cases we use to teach MBAs in business school:
1) AI already does extremely well across diverse business topics
2) Models are improving rapidly with time

Crumbl Cookie employee caught styling another employee's hair in the kitchen at a location in Charlotte, North Carolina.
When the man confronted the worker, he was met with some sass.
"I walked inside, and I said, 'What youβre doing isnβt sanitary,' and the girl that was doing the hair, she said, 'Do you see me cooking?' I said, 'But youβre in the kitchen,'" the man, William Baker, said.
Nothing like some hair product chemicals in your cookies.

For 800 years Ireland fought tooth and nail for its freedom β against Vikings, Normans, English tyranny, and famine. Blood was spilled, heroes hanged, generations sacrificed so we could call this island ours.
Now successive traitor governments have surrendered it without a shot to waves of migrants from Africa, India, Pakistan, and beyond. Open borders, hotel takeovers, Irish families pushed aside. This isnβt βprogressβ β itβs conquest by replacement.
Our ancestors didnβt die for an Ireland that belongs to everyone else.

ICEβs daily arrest rate fell to 1,593 in early July, below its 2,000 peak in June.
The Trump administration has failed to hit its 3,000 daily arrest goal, which was set by Stephen Miller over 14 months ago.

Wall Street is holding its breath
The S&P 500 is barely budging as investors wait for earnings from the biggest names in tech, with the next round of results expected to shape the market's next move.
After months of AI-driven momentum, traders are looking for one thing: proof that the growth story is still intact.

Black America is more dependent on welfare and government jobs than any other group, so why is DSA a white college club that canβt sign them up?
Blacks are 13% of the population, take 28% of SNAP, and fill 19% of federal jobs.
Nonmarital births near 70% drive the poverty that keeps the dependency high.
Polls give them HIGHER favorability for SOCIALISM than whites (52% to 31%) so we know the bigger checks already sell.
And yet, DSA membership stays some 85% white with black numbers stuck in the single digits.
And thatβs because so far (1) the DSA pushes defunding the police and open borders while black neighborhoods eat the crime, and (2) it runs secular campus culture that is more urban, white, and not exactly working class.
So blacks just stick with the Democratic machine that already cuts the checks.
HOWEVER, when DSA candidates drop the culture war and run pure economics as theyβve done in places like DC, they win black wards the same way Democrats already lock in socially conservative Black churchgoers who take the welfare programs and ignore the rest of the socially liberal bs.
That limited focus is enough for them now and it will be enough for DSA.

Meet Auggie/Augustin Pugh of Kansas City, KS.
Here he is calling for people to "exercise your second amendment right" by shooting and murdering ICE agents.
He says that you probably won't get convicted by a jury or even see a jury at all because so many people hate ICE.
He appears to work for Tom French Construction.
I wonder what their customers and potential customers would think of them employing someone calling for the death of law enforcement angets, as well as promoting violence against those who don't align with his views.
