✨ Notes about Rosacea ✍🏻
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
1⃣Rosacea is not comedonal (but may exist with acne which may be comedonal).
2⃣Brimonidine tartrate is licensed for the treatment of facial erythema in rosacea.
3⃣The pustules and papules of rosacea respond to topical azelaic acid, topical ivermectin or to topical metronidazole.
4⃣Alternatively oral administration of oxytetracycline or tetracycline, or erythromycin, can be used; courses usually last 6–12 weeks and are repeated intermittently.
5⃣Doxycycline can be used [unlicensed indication] if oxytetracycline or tetracycline is inappropriate (e.g. in renal impairment).
6⃣A modified-release preparation of doxycycline is licensed in low daily doses for the treatment of facial rosacea.
7⃣Camouflagers may be required for the redness.

**Horner syndrome** is a relatively rare disorder characterized by
1⃣ a constricted pupil (miosis)
2⃣drooping of the upper eyelid (ptosis)
3⃣absence of sweating of the face (anhidrosis)
4⃣and sinking of the eyeball into the bony cavity that protects the eye (enophthalmos).
These are **the four** classic signs of the disorder.
