Currently, the Home Caregiving Grant (HCG) supports care recipients with permanent moderate disability (defined as someone who always requires some assistance to perform at least 3 out of 6 ADLs) and often does not extend to mental health clients. To better understand the financial support needed by low to middle-income caregivers of Persons with Mental Health Issues (PMHIs), AIC and MOH are conducting a survey – *caregiver does not need live with the care recipient*. This will be conducted by an appointed survey vendor from January to March 2023. Speak up to influence policies that will better support mental health caregivers: https://www.mlresearch.com.sg/survey/pmhi_register. Refer to the eDM for more information. For assistance and clarification, reach out to the AIC representatives or the appointed survey vendor via the contact numbers listed in the attached eDM.
