Buying at depressed prices, instead of blindly lump sum or DCA-ing is the only way you can have high levels of capital preservation even in downtime markets.
For REITs especially, its very do-able given how simplified the business models are, you just need to know what to look out for and pay abit more attention to whats going on in the market.

| 3 | To clients: The REITs market in general is starting to reach a level where entry is reasonable. Once again, I'd not consider these bargain prices, but its at a level that is reasonable to start positions in desirable REITs at fair valuations.
Granted, the headwinds are strong but these are not consequential to longer duration investors. Worth paying attention to enter if you've been waiting for it. | 158 |
| 4 | Why is the US 30-year yield at a 19-year high even though the Fed hasn't hiked?
Because the Fed doesn't set that rate - the market does.
Most people think "interest rates" are one thing the Fed controls. They're not.
Understanding the difference explains a lot about what's happening right now.

| 5 | "I've got time" is the most expensive thing you can tell yourself in your 30s.
Your retirement has a point of no return, and it is not a date, but the moment the maths stops working in your favour.
Unfortunately, most people don't realise how fast they're approaching it.

| 6 | US national debt just hit $40 trillion. Cue the panic headlines.
Should you actually be worried? The answer: Yes and no.
It's a real long-term issue, but it's not the overnight implosion the internet wants you to think it is.
Swipe through for the calm version and the three things actually worth reviewing on Instagram. | 289 |
| 7 | To clients: I've updated the trade blotter to reflect the current limit trade that I've inputted to average down and add position on some of the counters that are trading near the target price. | 289 |
| 8 | Everyone heard premiums went up but almost no one understands the change that actually matters.
With the latest changes to health insurance, healthcare financing isn't something you can cruise on anymore.
To make sure you're paying for the right benefits and to avoid being forced to drop your coverage in your retirement years because you can no longer afford it, you need to understand what actually changed, and what it means for your plan.

| 9 | A quick note on where this channel is heading.
Previously, this channel focused on REIT analysis.
All along, I've been writing well beyond REITs: insurance, broader investing, retirement planning, and market updates — mainly through my website.
REITs were always one piece of a bigger question:
how do you build income that actually lasts through retirement?
A single instrument was never going to answer that on its own.
So I'm refocusing this channel around that bigger question.
Same analysis-first approach you're used to, applied to the whole picture instead of one slice of it.
If retirement planning and building lasting income is something you think about, you're in the right place.
If you're only here for REITs, that content stays too.

| 10 | For clients: theres a few good entry price for REITs with solid portfolio - those looking to start a position should pay attention to the names that i often bring up during our conversations | 435 |
| 11 | Another trade went through, same counter but slightly lower TP. | 576 |
| 12 | To clients: Triggered one of my buy order today - first and probably only hospitality REIT i'll hold in the portfolio.
Honestly, not a fan of the hospitality sector, but the current yield, management track record and property portfolio made it worth starting a small position despite the bias against the sector. | 610 |

| 17 | Updated trade blotter.
Triggered a trade today for one of the golden bois. Not the best price for sure but this is done to increase position instead of holding too much excess cash.
Clients can refer to the trade blotter (completed trade) to see what is triggered. On a personal note, I'm likely going to be adding more positions at acceptable prices for the golden bois instead of waiting for valuations to be attractive. | 437 |
