Some of us were born into and brought up into the traditional sacred way of life. Some of us were brought up into families where our elders kept the traditional ceremonial ways alive. οΏΌ We have a whole different aspect and understanding than those who are coming into it later on in life. οΏΌ
Somewhere along the line, people started to bring in the βdonβt tell me what to do attitudeβοΏΌ into our ceremonies. οΏΌWe are responsible to keep alive, old-fashioned honor, and respect the way, our aunties, uncles grandmas and grandpas used to. οΏΌ Those new people coming around the sacred ways need to know this. It is very important that we keep alive ways of how to conduct ourselves around ceremony and others. οΏΌ
As Iβve said, before, it doesnβt matter what family you come from who raised you or what your experiences are at the end of the day people are going to remember how you treated them. If you go to a ceremony and thereβs somebody you donβt get along with pay each other no mind , donβt let your conflicts spread into the ceremonial atmosphere where people need to feel safe. Stop giving each other mean lookβs during ceremonies relearn how to let things go learn to manage your conflict in a healthy manner so the children can learn how to get along when they get older. If you use your intelligence, nΓ Ε‘ΓΔun π§ there is no need to throw your fist and bad words towards each other. οΏΌ
As my ThΓ‘nkΓ© always says βbe a good ancestorβ. οΏΌ
