Where no amateurism has gone before! Taken in São Paulo, Brazil, 2026/08/28, around 1:00 AM. I used more or less the same settings as my full Moon photo from earlier this year - so, a small telescope + a manual photostacking and a slight enhancement on GIMP. It hadn't turned out as sharp as the full Moon one as... well, eclipses tend to block the light! But it was a cool experiment nonetheless. 🌟 2026 carrd | ☕️ Ko-fi 🌟

Last two days were not optimal, but today we *tried* to go to local planetarium to see the eclipse. There were literally * 400+ people * in the queue! We didn't manage to get anywhere near telescopes but night was pleasant, and I am * so happy * in seeing lots of people interested in ✨science✨! Mind it, Thursday, late night, far away from the center, entire families were there. I love to see Physics getting some proper appreciation!

I'm not really stable and I'm pretty much questioning most of my current relationships. But I see no solution but to forget everything and to put all hope aside and be happy in isolation. This is most a reminder to myself than anything else. I just need to be strong and that's it. Take care you all and be wise to not end up like this.

[Mini-vent] Second day of isolation + freezing due anxiety + cronical isolation (I'm vaguely considering even leaving São Paulo if I don't manage to break this isolation soon) Any words of encouragement? Maybe that might do the trick...

[Mini-vent] Basically VERY anxious today, recalling bad experiences from many years ago, I don't have much people to talk about it, I do need to do a lot of stuff but I'm frozen, etc. I basically just try to distract myself and ignore things, waiting to get better, but sometimes it doesn't work much (disclaimer: I'm aware this is not the most safe/classical way to deal with those feelings, but for many reasons it is the most affordable for me atm. But, for you all: please try to get a better support so you don't need to improvise like me!) I didn't manage to work today, but might try to work now. Thanks for understanding ❤️
