Though she could not speak or move, the hospital staff assured us that she could hear us. We gathered around her bedside, prayed together, and shared heartfelt memories of her until she took her last breath. Anna was a true warrior of our time—a woman with a heart full of love, compassion, and an unshakable sense of justice. She was a devoted mother and an incredible human being who gave everything for the betterment of humanity. Her words continue to resonate with us: "What’s the point of saving a world without fighting for people?
