This legislation is particularly useful if you had your own meters and the energy broker has made allegations of rogue, faulty or unsafe meters, tampering or unrecorded use of energy by way of bypassing a meter. They may only discontinue or refuse to supply through a meter owned by a customer if there are reasonable reasonable grounds to do so. If they claim the meters are not accurate or are a danger this must be explained by the agents making that claim so that a dispute can be made and an opportunity is given to request an independent meter examination. These corporations force their way into people’s homes and steal property using other parts of this act as their justification. It is not for them to pick and choose which parts to practice and which parts to ignore. All or nothing.

If it is beyond the remit of the energy ombudsman to deal with disputed allegations of tampering in cases where no criminal charges have been made then who exactly is tasked with dealing with disputes of this nature? This my lovelies, is the grey area where dastardly deeds are enacted by greedy, bonus driven agents and brokers who think they are above the law…. Know thy enemy and right now the energy’s ombudsman has implicated it’s own practices as either part of the corruption or a body unable to investigate the matter of fraud by falsifying evidence of tampering and theft. The only action left for redress is the police or the courts. I am going to exhaust the route of police before I take this to court. No stone left unturned. 𝙏.𝙍𝙪𝙩𝙝

I was charged £2:40 to withdraw £80 cash today. I was not made aware of the 3% charges until after I completed the transaction and had withdrawn the cash.

However, even before the energy crisis, the real cost of our bills had gone up, consumers were confused and for a country with our coastline, we were making slow progress on renewable energy. People are pushing back. You can take action right now to support full public ownership of our energy system, by writing to your MP. This campaign is organised by Labour for a Green New Deal and we support it. Who owns our energy? The UK won nature’s lottery with oil and gas in North Sea, and huge potential for wind and hydropower around the coastline. But we’re squandering it, allowing BP, Shell and co to take the profit. Around 50% of UK offshore wind is publicly owned right now, but only 0.07% of it is publicly owned by the UK. Instead, publicly owned companies from Denmark and Norway take the opportunities and make the profit. Once energy has been generated, it needs to be transmitted across the country. National Grid is responsible for gas transmission across the UK mainland and electricity transmission in England. You don’t have any choice about this as a consumer - it’s a private monopoly. The police are very concerned about their public image and public support. All complaints about their conduct make an impact. Even if you haven’t been personally victimised by a police attendance at your own home you can still make a complaint about their conduct if you’ve seen someone’s video who has been mistreated. You only need to know the date, rough location and the details of the offending cuntstables 🤭 constabulary. Let’s stop this unlawful arrests by cuntstables 🤭 assisting utility brokers and their bully boy/girl agents. 😉
