Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah, We are producing a series for Tarteel, and I'm looking for a small number of brothers to feature. The shoot is a single studio day on Sunday 16th August [London]. We're filming a range of formats built around recitation and memorisation, live recitation challenges verified by the app, spot-testing huffadh, mistake-detection challenges, Q&A and short teaching clips, all designed to be genuinely engaging and shareable. Who we're looking for: aspiring huffadh, teachers or students of knowledge who are energetic and fairly confident on camera. What's involved: one professionally produced day, scripts prepared in advance, content published across Tarteel's platforms, and all clips made available for your own channels. An honorarium of £200 is offered for the day. If you're interested or would like to know more, please message us at wa.me/447378461404. Places are limited and the date is close, so do reach out soon. Jazakumullahu khayran.

📖Recite by Night, Conquer by Day After the Battle of Qadisiyyah (15 AH), Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas sent a letter to 'Umar b. al-Khaṭṭāb, relaying to him the good news of the victory. In the letter, he mentioned: 'Sa'd b. Ubayd the Reciter was martyred, and so-and-so, and so-and so was martyred, and men amongst the Muslims who are only known to Allah; He surely knows them... When night would fall, they would recite the Qur'ān like the buzzing of the bees; and during the day, they were lions unlike any other.' Life With Allah ♥️

Renew your covenant with the Qur’an every morning and evening. Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “Reciting the Qur’an with reflection grants a person strength in the heart, true life, expansiveness, tranquility, joy, and happiness. As a result, they become occupied with a completely different state, while the rest of the people remain occupied with another.” ❤️

NEW PODCAST | Abubakr Karimabadi From East London, to Cambridge, to leading Taraweeh, studying law, working in the corporate world, and witnessing Allah's incredible provision throughout his journey, this is a conversation I genuinely believe will benefit every one of us. I first came across Abubakr's story around four or five years ago, right at the beginning of the Hifdhstatus Podcast. Years later, Allah placed the thought in our minds to finally reach out to him. SubhanAllah, he had just returned from Hajj, which led to some incredibly deep reflections that I don't think we would've had otherwise. We spoke about beginning hifdh with the wrong intentions, how Allah gradually purifies our hearts through the Qur'an, balancing the Qur'an with a career in law, leading Taraweeh, and so much more. 🎙️ Watch the full episode here May Allah reward our dear brother Abubakr Karimabadi for sharing his journey so openly, make us all from Ahlul Qur'an, and allow this conversation to benefit everyone who watches it.

It is a journey that begins with a single letter, then an Āyah, then a Juz', until it becomes a lifetime of companionship with the Qur’ān. It is a journey measured not by how much you have memorised, but by the depth of its impact upon you. Every other path may come to an end, and every other project may fail, but this journey with the Qur’ān never does.❤️

Imam Malik رحمه الله said: “Medina was conquered by the Qur’ān.” This is what happened when the Prophet ﷺ sent Mus’ab ibn ’Umayr to Medina before his migration (Hijrah). He instructed him that when he reached them, he should let them hear the Qur’ān. So he did, and because of that, many of them embraced Islam. “فتحت المدينة بالقرآن”

📖To the honoured teachers of the Qur'ān In this age of distraction, our world stands in urgent need of those who cultivate Qur'ānic excellence. You sow goodness in young hearts and water souls with the Āyāt of Allah ﷻ until they bloom with īmān, guidance and light. "Just as We have sent among you a messenger from yourselves, reciting to you Our verses, purifying you, and teaching you the Book and wisdom." [2:151] So carry your calling with three things: • gentleness in spirit • steadfastness in example • sincerity in intention The teacher who embodies the Qur'ān becomes like the rain: wherever it descends, life awakens and faith takes root. And know this: though the world may overlook your quiet service, its reward resounds in both worlds.♥️

The Qur'ān is a divine selection from Allah ﷻ. Perhaps the greatest blessing Allah has singled you out with is not intelligence, ability, or talent, but that He opened the door of the Qur'ān for you. So do not neglect a door that Allah has opened for you, while so many others have been deprived of it.

Alhamdulillah, we completed our Khatmah. May Allah accept it from every single one of us, and from all the brothers and sisters who joined us at any point along this journey. SubhanAllah, many of you tuned in from wherever life had you, from work, from home, some sitting with your families week after week. This Halaqah travelled with us. From London to Makkah, to Qatar, to Malaysia, and we concluded it here, in the land where so many of these very ayat were revealed. Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah. We were honoured to be joined by Shaykh Jamal, Shaykh Uzair, and Shaykh Musa Abu Zaghleh, who shared beautiful reflections, advice, and closing Duas that were truly befitting of this moment. May Allah accept it from us all. Ameen.

Alhamdullillah...what an honour that Allah has bestowed upon us, to complete the Qur'an on such a day. For us to be joined by our Mashayyikh.

Beginning now Insha'Allah!

📖 I promise you, your journey with the Qur'ān will mirror no journey before. Yes, you may resonate with or share similarities with an individual who likewise took this path. That's not what I mean. On my journey with the Qur'ān, I struggled with the letter Rā. My native language is English, and I'd never needed to roll my tongue...until I started my Hifdh journey and realised, unless I unlocked that ability, my recitation would remain subpar. I would practise every day, intentional practice. I would think deeply about how it worked (it never made sense), and marvel at how effortlessly certain reciters and speakers of Arabic would bring it. The rest of my Makhārij was very good, excellent in fact, and recognised as such by my teachers. It was just that one letter which my tongue couldn't roll. This moment in my journey is what convinced me then, and serves as a case study in current, and I'm sure future, moments of challenge, a testament to the power of persistence and consistency. How many people can say they unlocked the letter Rā on their way down an escalator, in a mall, on a random day of the week? Can you? I can. It came suddenly and never left once it did. I recited it and it rolled effortlessly, and continues to till today (may it continue, Ameen). There are milestones on the journey that we all will share, but how you achieve them, where you achieve them, when you achieve them, now that's your story. And perhaps you haven't thought about it until now, but your story is being written each day you live it. Have fun on the journey. Feel grateful for every small step, even if it's a backstep, as long as it's on that path, that's what matters. Stay on it, and may Allah grant us all a journey to reflect upon in the highest ranks of His Paradise.🤍 @hifdhstatus

📖If you don't have a daily wird of the Qur'an, this is for you. Your daily Wird doesn't have to be a full Juzz. It could be one page. It could be just listening. The point: don't let a single day pass without your share of Allah's words. The Prophet ﷺ will stand before Allah on the Day of Judgement and say: "My Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as abandoned." [25:30] Don't be from those people. Long working hours? Listen on the way there. Can't read well? Then listen, for listening to the Qur'an is an act of worship, one of the greatest doors to closeness with Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Recite the Qur'an, for it will come as an intercessor for its companions on the Day of Judgement." And: "Whoever reads one letter from Allah's Book will have one good deed, multiplied by ten. Alif is a letter. Lam is a letter. Mim is a letter." From today, set a daily reminder on your phone. Five minutes. That's it. The Qur'an was not revealed to sit on shelves. It was revealed to live in your chest and revive your heart.❤️ @hifdhstatus
