Jim Simmons passed away. The world believed that there was only one way to make money in the stock market, and that was fundamental analysis. While many traders in the past achieved solid outperformance without fundamental analysis, Jim stood out because he did it with a large hedge fund. Benjamin Graham (fundamental king) said, "People who invest make money for themselves; people who speculate (referred to short-term trading) make money for their brokers." If Jim had blindly believed that short-term trading could not make money, we would not have The Jim Simmons in this world. The lesson is to always be open and receptive to new ideas and ways of doing things.

We had a Champions Club Meetup last Sunday. One highlight was getting to chat with the winners of last quarter's Champions Club Trading Competition (CCTC). When asked about their 12-month performance, most of them had a triple-digit return (100%+). So happy to see many success stories in the first year of the Champions Club. We also spent a good amount of time talking about risk and charts. Overall, it was a great time together.

The market threw me out of almost all of my trades. That itself indicates the market isn't supportive. I'm getting on conservative mode.
