*Exam tip for jamb* Time management: I've seen smart people fail exams in general because of this aspect. Let's analyze jamb straight up: We have 2 hours to answer 180 questions; Let us calculate how many seconds we can spend on a question; We all know that: 2 hours = 120 mins = 7,200 seconds. For one question: 7200 Seconds Γ· 180 questions = 40 questions per question. So ,we have just 40 questions for one question!! Don't panic, I promise it's not as bad as it looks and this is why I say so... Let's try something, answer this question for me in your mind as fast as you can ___ went to see the movies yesterday. a)Amadi and myself b)Amadi and I c)Me and Amadi Do you know you just answered a past jamb question that quickly?? I'm sure some of you answered this question in less than 3 secs and if you didn't ,don't be discouraged I will let you on a little secret; the reason most of the people who answered this question in less than 3 seconds could do it , it's not because they are smart rather it's because they have seen this question before , maybe not the exact question but the concept of " Amadi and I". It won't be shocking to know that they even failed the question the first time they attempted it, so don't think it's because they are so smart or special kids, it's a big lie ,you are special and smart too , possibly even smarter. This is why you should practice while you read. For each subject you're going to take in jamb , ensure you have practiced at least 1,000 questions. If you don't read and practice as well, you will spend unnecessary time on questions. A question like that, you should spend just 3 seconds and move to the next, So instead of using 40 secs , you spent 3 secs. And this should be the case for subjects you know very well, so you can create time for those subjects that are difficult for you. This is why in the exam mode of this app, we have a feature of "time spent on each question" and in the cbt mode "time spent on each subject". We know how important time management is, so please invest in yourself, activate this app if you haven't and start using it.

We all know that Jamb is 2 hours = 2 x 60 = 120 minutes for 180 questions πŸ€”Wait, does that mean I have to spend less than 1 minute on 1 question to finish my exam? Don't fret, we will be demystifying how you can manage your time perfectly😜 Read up the post below πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

Exam tips #2 -Familiarize yourself with a laptop: This is very very very important. I remember when I wrote jamb, I saw people asking the officers in the exam hall questions like... "Excuse me sir, how do I go to the next question?" "Excuse me maa, I have never used a mouse before how do I control it select my answer?" "Excuse me sir, how do I type my exam details on the keyboard because I have never seen a keyboard before?" "Excuse me maa, how do I scroll down?" If you're in this category, I'm sorry to tell you this is the worst category you can be in. Do you know why?? Because, truth be told, these exam officers do not really care about you, they are there to Invigilate and help out but not teach you how to use a computer for the first time I mean sometimes you actually need to ask questions because I remember my time, some of the computers/laptops we used were not very impressive,it was difficult to actually scroll down and some minor issues. SOLUTION: The solution to this problem is simple; Familiarize yourself with a laptop, don't assume you already know how to use one, they are shortcuts that can help you incredibly like for example scrolling down and up with 2 fingers instead of using that tiny bar on the side it does work on all computers though. I remember that feature helped me during my time for the long passage questions where I needed constant scrolling. You may ask but what can I do to Familiarize myself with a laptop?? 1) We have a computer/laptop version of this app that works on windows, check our Whatsapp channel(https://t.me/jambcbt_offline/55) for more info. You can decide to take your practice tests on laptops, this will help a lot. 2)You can literally just play around with the laptop, even if it's playing games, as long as you can use it and type, you're still familiarizing yourself with the laptop You may ask what if I don't have a laptop or computer and can't afford one? This is still not an excuse!! I, personally, didn't also have a laptop when I was in school. - You can go to cybercafes and pay for an hour service as many times as you can. - You can go to your neighbors or friends house who have these devices and borrow them or use it in their houses. No excuse!! Drop a "πŸ‘" if this was helpful

Exam tips #1 -Aim high This is probably the most important tip here after Prayer. You know, I feel very disappointed and pained when I see students aim to score 250 in jamb, some even aim to score 180. I mean, the reason I even feel so disappointed and pained is not because of the exam itself or anything but because of the mindset behind that desire. How can a student who goes to school 8 hours a day, doesn't have real life problems aim to score 250 in jamb? And you use the excuse of targeting a realistic score!! Nah nah nah, as a young lad, you should and must THINK BIG, even if at the end of the day you score 220, that's not the problem , the problem is aiming to score 220, the mindset behind that is the problem. Whether you go to a public, federal, private school or whether you go to work or you fetch 10 buckets of water everyday before you go to school or you Trek through the mountains to get to school or your school "isn't very good at teaching"... There's no excuse, absolutely no excuse for you to not to aim high. Even if you have a realistic target at the back of your mind, have an unrealistic target too , something like 390, yes 390!!, I said it ,390!! So please I want us to change that mindset of aiming to score 180, 200, 250 , even 270. A wise man once said aim for the stars so even if you fall, you fall on the clouds or something like that, lol. The point is , aim high please, You are the leaders, scientists, innovators, business men, lawyers, photographers, politicians, ambassadors, surgeons of tomorrow. You cannot afford not to dream big. What's your new Target??🎀
