What does it take to turn an idea into action?
At our Craft Your Pilot Project workshop, aspiring changemakers took their first step towards launching their initiatives. With guidance from ThinkPlace, they refined their ideas, scoped their projects realistically, and developed actionable pilot plans.
One key insight? Start small, test, and adapt. Pilots donāt have to be perfect from the startāwhat matters is taking measurable steps and learning along the way.
Curious about what went on? Catch the highlights on our LinkedIn and Facebook!

āThe giving.sg platform has enabled ProsperAll to quickly attract a significant number of volunteers, with filtering functions that help us identify those with the right skills for specific tasks. Weāve successfully recruited 7 volunteers, with 3 of them forming part of the core team. As a groundup initiative focusing on financial literacy for youths, the recruited volunteers lead various aspects like marketing, content creation, as well as planning and facilitation of gameshows.
The platform also allowed me to clearly display expectations and requirements for volunteers at a glance, ensuring that interested individuals fully understood their roles and responsibilities from the outset. This efficiency has been vital in building a capable and well-aligned team.ā

āThe Achievers is a groundup initiative that serves long stay residents in the Buangkok Green Medical Park through befriending. Over the last five years, weāve created more than 70 volunteering opportunities on giving.sg to recruit volunteers for PHAngel, which involves snack distribution during public holidays, and befrienders to bring residents for outings.
The platform is easy to navigate and use. Creating a volunteer opportunity takes less than 5 minutes, and we can answer queries on the go as our contact information is made available to interested volunteers. To date, we have successfully recruited over 500 volunteers, many of whom came back to volunteer with us.ā
