. I usually make 3000+ppm CDS for use with CDS protocols. Now that we can make CDS in about 3 hours time, there is probably no reason to store it for long periods of time. Never tested CDS for longest shelf life in a fridge. Not sure if making CDS with different acid activators would make a difference in shelf life. I no longer use HCL acid activator when making CDS because HCL will gas into CDS. HCL in CDS might influence shelf life of CDS. It does raise the TDS compared to using citric acid or phosphoric acid activators.
