ورقـــات

⠀ عباد الله؛ إِنَّ شهرَ رمضان قد عزم على الرَّحيل، ولم يبقَ منه إِلَّا القليل، فمَن منكم أَحسن فيه فعليه التَّمام، ومن فرَّط فليختمه بالحسنى، والعمل بالختام، فاستغنموا منه ما بقي من اللَّيالي اليسيرة والأَيَّام، واستودعوه عملًا صالحًا يشهد لكم به عند الملك العلَّام، وودِّعوه عند فراقِه بأَزكى تحيَّة وسَلام. لطائف المعارف، لابنِ رجب، صـ١٦.

⠀ السُّنَّة في وقت صلاة التَّراويح في المسجد أَن يكون في أَوَّلِ اللَّيلِ. أَمَّا مَن يصلِّي لوحدِه في البيتِ، فالأَفضلُ في آخر اللَّيل. شيخنا أَ.د. سليمان الرحيلي وفقه الله ⠀

The difference between the one who remembers his Lord and the one who does not remember his Lord is the difference between the living and the dead. — Bukhārī no. 6407

They abandon their beds, praying to their Lord with hope and fear, and they donate from what We have provided for them. No soul can imagine what delights are kept in store as a recompense for what they used to do. Qurʾan 32:15-6

The Prophet ʿalayhi al-salam used to pray long prayers at night until his feet would swell. When asked why he strove so hard when Allah had honored him by forgiving all his past and future sins, he said, ‘Shall I not be a thankful servant?’ — Al-Mughīrah, Bukhārī no. 1130

⠀ يا عبدَ الله؛ لُذ بالجنابِ ذليلًا، وقِف على الباب طويلًا، واتخذ في هذه العشر سبيلَا، واجعل جنابَ التوبةِ مَقِيلَا، واجتهد في الخير تجدْ ثوابًا جزيلَا، قل في الأَسحارِ: أَنا تائبٌ، نادِ في الدُّجى: قد قَدِمَ الغائب! التَّبصرة، لابن الجَوزي، ٢/١١٥.

Supplications are suspended between the heavens and earth, and it is only through sending salah upon the Prophet ʿalayhi al-salam that they ascend. — ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb, Tirmiḏẖi no. 486

⠀ اسمعوا نصيحةَ من قد جرَّب وخَبر، إِنَّه بقدر إِجلالكم للهِ عزَّ وجلَّ يجلُّكُم، وبمقدار تعظيم قدرِه واحترامِه، يعظِّم أَقدارَكم وحرمتَكُم. صَيد الخاطر، لابن الجوزي، صـ١٤٩.

⠀ اللَّهُمَّ فأَيُّما عبدٍ أَو أَمَةٍ من أَهلِ البرِّ والبحرِّ تَقَبَّلْت دعوتهم، واستجبت دعاءَهم، أَن تُشركَنا في صالحِ ما يدعونك به، وأَن تعافينا وإِيَّاهم، وأَن تقبلَ مِنَّا ومنهم، وأَن تجاوزَ عنَّا وعنهم، بأَنَّا ﴿آمنا بما أَنزتَ واتَّبعنا الرَّسولَ فاكتبنا مع الشَّاهدين﴾."
