We are a group of students who stand for a Singapore that regards our migrant workers with the respect and dignity they deserve. We have written a statement to show our support for the ban on transporting workers on the back of lorries. Signing on the statement shows our solidarity, as students of all ages and members of the Singapore community, to migrant workers and their lives, dignity, and safety. ✊ This is especially so because their hard work and dangerous labour have been building and benefitting our nation, hence it is our duty to ensure that their safety is prioritised. HI NTU! We are in the midst of gathering signatures for our petition in order to spread awareness of the current financial aid system's issues.
