🎉 EHPSA – Ethiopian Health Professional Students Association, Ambo Branch  We are proud to announce the successful completion of our initiative to support students in need of exercise books. This meaningful program was made possible through the collective efforts of health students at Ambo University. 📽️ To raise funds, we organized a night movie event, with tickets sold at 30 birr each. Thanks to the dedication of class representatives across all departments, the tickets were completely sold out, generating 10,580 birr. 📚 On Meskerem 7, we distributed exercise books to students in need, fulfilling the core mission of our program. The event was honored by the presence of esteemed university leaders, including: Professor Bizunesh Midaksa, Vice President for Academic Affairs  Dr. Solomon, Vice President for development and Administration  Dr. Abdeta Bayisa, Dean of Students  Along with other respected university officials 🤝 A special acknowledgment goes to the Ambo University Students’ Union, whose significant contribution played a vital role in the success of this initiative. In total, over 22,000 birr was collected to support this noble cause. 📝 Donation Summary  Together with the Ambo University Students’ Union, we proudly donated 492 exercise books and 150 pens to 60 students in need—ensuring they have the tools to thrive in their academic journey. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated and supported this effort. Together, we’ve made a lasting impact on the lives of fellow students. EHPSA calls upon all responsible bodies—including the government, the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC), the Ethiopian Health Professionals Movement (EHPM), the Ethiopian Health Professionals Association (EHPA), and other stakeholders—to engage in immediate, open, and constructive dialogue. We urgently demand: 1. The release of all detained students, interns, and health professionals. 2. Swift and concrete action to address the legitimate grievances of health workers, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. 3. Protection of the fundamental rights of all healthcare professionals to advocate for their profession, their patients, and systemic improvements without fear of retaliation.
