On this date 24 Years Ago at #BAPSEdison: Friday, October 13, 2000 (V.S. 2056, Aso Sud 15) The Sharad Punam festival was celebrated at #BAPSEdison in the evening in the presence of HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj! During the assembly the president of Queens International Club, Mr. John Hogan, said, "I am really happy to be here with you all this evening. I can see the wonderful work being done here. The thing that inspires me the most is that everything here is done so cooperatively. The people in the parking lot, the kitchen and everywhere are so nice. You don't see that kind of thing anywhere. I would like the people at large to see all this being done here." Mr. Hogan then honored Swamishri by presenting the 'Person of the Century' plaque. Then a colorful, festive procession of the murti of Gunatitanand Swami was carried out in celebration of Sharad Punam festival.
