Her name 'AMAAL' means “hope” in Arabic; she migrated to Ethiopia 2 years ago during their countries political instability. She missed her country and where she is in Addis with no job, no education and no one they know. Her mother and she made it to Addis Ababa but her father and little brother are still in Syria and she misses them badly. She wants to adjust her life hoping that one day she can go back and reunite with them. Migration to Heaven A stunning mural by this talented artist, Lili Tefere Lemlem from Addis Street Art - አዲስ Everyone thought they lost her, but then she came back from death, Lilit was a very little girl by then, but she will never forget her grandmother's story, a story of life after death. It was an Angel which sent her back to life telling her "It’s not your time to be here”, she saw her father from distance, and it was all beautiful and full of light, that’s what Lili heard from her grandmother's speechless mouth. Since then Lili could never stopped thinking about heaven. Through her imagination she migrated there wondering what life could look like after death.
