Translation has been practiced in our daily life as the way of transferring
the ideas from one language into another one
Languages also became tools for disseminating literary works, such as novels, short stories, and poems. Through translation, people can transmit a language
“translation is a kind of
activity which involves two languages and two cultural traditions.”
The cultural
traditions and languages have an important role in translation.
1_ First translation is the process of transferring the message from Source Language (SL)
to the Target Language (TL).
2_Second, the translator should understand the aspects
of aesthetic functions in the literary texts.
3_Third, translation is the bridge in
communication which crosses cultural and and language . “Translation as a
process which the chain of signifiers constitutes the Source Language text is
replaced by a chain of signifiers in the Target Language which the translator
The translator deals with the cultural aspects of the source language and the target language, and also learns about the cultures of two different languages. Translation is the work of a translator, done with the original ideas of the translator but with the same idea as the source language. The translator also deals with the translation procedure, which is the procedure that must be applied in translating into the target language keeping in mind
يتعامل المترجم مع الجوانب الثقافية في اللغة المصدر واللغة الهدف، وأن يتعرف أيضًا على ثقافتين من لغتين مختلفتين. الترجمة هي عمل مترجم، يتم إجراؤه بواسطة الأفكار الأصلية للمترجم ولكن بنفس فكرة اللغة المصدر. يتعامل المترجم أيضًا مع إجراءات الترجمة، وهو الإجراء الذي يجب تطبيقه في الترجمة إلى لغة الهدف مع الأخذ في الاعتبار
