Dear Parents and Students, I hope you had refreshing, joyful, and restful holidays. As we reopen school tomorrow, I warmly welcome you back to your second home—Loyola. I hope you return with renewed energy, enthusiasm, and a positive spirit. As we begin a new term, I would like to share a few simple suggestions and guidelines that can help our students grow academically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually: 1. Set aside dedicated time for studies every day: - KG: 1 hour - Grades 1–4: 2 hours - Grades 5–9: 3 hours - Grades 10–12: 4 hours 2. Use social media wisely and responsibly. We may not be able to stop using social media completely, but we can certainly learn to use it wisely. On working days, please limit screen and social media time to a maximum of 30 minutes for junior students and 1 hour for senior students. During holidays, parents may decide the appropriate time, but it should preferably not exceed 2 hours a day. Parents are kindly requested to monitor their children's screen usage. 3. Prepare a daily timetable for studies, homework, reading, recreation, and rest—and make every effort to follow it consistently. 4. Develop the habit of reading. Try to read at least one good book every month. Reading opens our minds, enriches our vocabulary, and broadens our understanding of the world. 5. Learn at least three new words every day and record them in your vocabulary notebook. Make an effort to use these words in your conversations and writing. 6. Maintain a regular sleep schedule. Go to bed and wake up at a fixed time as far as possible. A healthy routine helps you stay focused, energetic, and positive. 7. Exercise regularly, eat nutritious food, and get sufficient sleep. A healthy body supports a healthy mind. 8. Share household responsibilities. Make it a habit to do some household work every day. Small responsibilities help us become disciplined, independent, and caring individuals. 9. Spend some time in prayer every day. Take a few quiet moments to thank God, reflect on your day, and seek guidance and strength. Dear students, success is not built in a day; it is built through small, consistent efforts every day. Let us make this term a time of learning, growth, discipline, kindness, and excellence. I wish you all fruitful, meaningful, and joyful academic days ahead. Welcome back to school! Let us begin this new term with renewed hope, determination, and enthusiasm. God bless you all always! 🙏 Principal 🌈🌈🌈
